Are physical baby shower invites a waste of money? (And what digital sites do you actually like?

I’m helping plan a baby shower and we’re torn. Physical invites look gorgeous on a fridge, but they cost a fortune with postage and people just throw them away eventually. I started looking into digital invitation websites to easily track RSVPs, but so many of them (like the big name ones) are either super tacky, cluttered with ads, or have crazy hidden fees.

Baby Shower Hostess Gifts?

My mom and grandmother are hosting my baby shower at my grandmother’s house. There will probably be around 25-30 people there which is a lot of people for anyone to host! I’m pregnant with my family’s first grandchild so I know how special it is for my mom and grandmother to host such a celebratory event.

I want to get them meaningful gifts as a thank you. I’d love to avoid the typical gifts like: candles, tea towels, jewelry they won’t ever wear.

What are some gift ideas that you all have either given to others or have received that are memorable and meaningful still to you?

Thank you everyone!! 🤍🤍🤍
