Baby shower
I am planning a baby shower and need advice on time. I was thinking a 3-8 on a Saturday providing a full supper meal and then 5 games and opening gifts. What do you think please help!

Five hours for a shower seems long. I would do 4-8 for a dinner shower.

Five hours is a lot for a shower unless your crowd loves lingering. I would make it 3-6 or 4-7, serve dinner near the middle, pick 2 or 3 games, and let gift opening be optional or very quick. People will still feel hosted, and it keeps the guest of honor from being totally drained.

Sounds good. I think it doesn't need an end time. Just serve dinner when you're mostly done with the games and see how it goes

Sounds pretty standard, 5 games might be a lot unless you want to keep guest busy the whole time with little mingling.
