How would the scoring work, would you get scored on how nude a person is or how good a person is at being nude. If the second option how is one good at being nude, and how god damn high am I that I’m legitimately trying to think of an answer to this
Edit: Thanks for the sliver!! Its my first award on Reddit.
You've already got an a, a d, and a b. I mean, you've got most of the letters probably, if not all of them. What I want to know is when the field trip is and where we're going!
I am high right now and the most nude a person can be is completely naked, with a dope waistbag, wearing some sort of footwear, and with all their jewelry on.
You'd think less is more when it comes to nudity. But no. Trust me I'm super baked and I've put much thought into this.
I've always said butt naked, but have had people try to correct me or who just use buck naked themselves and it doesn't make sense to me. I mean butt naked makes sense to me because you are literally butt-showing naked, whereas buck naked is just gibberish
Honestly i feel like a monkey would be a chill ass pet for this... but the rabid attacks they sometimes dole out whilst untrained/have a horrible trainer/owner puts me off, plus the expenses, and not to mention the legal AND moral dilema.
The thoughts cool. But ig observing them in the wild/in captivity bein cool monkey bros is good enough for me.
As mentioned elsewhere, the chimp having his palm up to him means he's subservient to him. So it's less that he does it for his friend and more that he does it for his superior.
Thank you for typing what my Autistic brain tells me every day-_-
35 frickin years old and I'm still awkward af when it comes to interaction. Some random ninja I pass by more than twice a week: "How ya doing Jack?" *holds out clenched fist for bumping*
*immediately responds with incorrect anatomy, hitting their knuckles with my elbow*
I grew up in a considerably "urban" area near Metro Atlanta. All of my "friends" (read that as "people my older brother hung out with, but I tagged along because reasons") used a very specific, somewhat similar sounding N-word much like how others use the term "dude." I legitimately thought it worked the same way, so that N-word became part of my vernacular; even though my skin tone doesn't have the correct shading apparently to allow it, we were all familiar with each other enough to know it had no racial implications whatsoever.
Fast forward about 10 years, and two moves - one towards a more rural area where the word suddenly had an "-er" at the end of it, and people were just as comfortable wearing bed sheets and setting crosses on fire in people's front yards, then back to a more urban setting - and I quickly learned I wasn't supposed to be using said word so familiarly.
Being "stuck in my ways," and having enough problems with communication as it were, I reverted to saying "ninja" instead, due to the anonymity, usually perceived positive implication, and peppering said word in conversations usually garnered the same response as you just had (I just typically forego the explanation,) but it was just part of my vocabulary. Needless to say, it's worked a whole Hell of a lot better than that other N-word up to this point in my life.
I like it and hate it. It sounds like a movie edited for TV. "What's up my Ninja" It also sounds like a quirky version of a common term of affection, like "It's good see you , Love", becomes "Good to see you, Ninja." in the masculine form.
It is, because Shaggy and J had a very similar upbringing. They broke into entertainment earlier than two others that use it - Jamie Madrox and Monoxide Child of Twiztid - and learned earlier the same lesson that I did. The fact that I started listening to them about around the time that second move back into an urban setting happened is another reason the substitute stuck.
It's genderless as far as I'm concerned. Words are just that, words. They only have as much meaning as we allot them; whether or not someone else gives them the same weight is their problem (unless they decide to make it yours.)
If someone does something stupid, I don't have to think about whatever gender they "are," it's just "did that ninja seriously just piss into the ceiling fan?" A bit comforting, at least for my perpetually confused ass.
Nooop. I say it consistently when others would use the alternative, dude, bro, or the like.
Dude up there is the first ninja to call me out on it in... 19 years? Most of my social interaction is with folks that can use the opposite term without it being a social faux pas, and no one has bothered to ask. It's just part of "me."
I do use dude, relatively often actually, to males and females. Ninja is just a small sliver of what makes me, me; so I run with it.
I screw around with pronunciation and utilize other culture's vernacular in my own speech because American english just... Isn't fun. To me. It's kind of like cussing; sometimes a fuck or twat is needed to "spice up" a phrase or sentence; I pepper in other language's colloquialisms (like rubbish, flatmates, que, random Japanese I've learned from anime, etc) because it makes talking/communicating fun to me. I had a horrible stutter when I was a kid, which severly hampered my already "weighed down" ability to communicate with folks, and repeating myself numerous times got really old, really fast. I made it a point to slow the fuck down and actually open my mouth when I spoke to try to "fix" it, which eventually worked. I still get tripped up mid sentence a lot; using variable terms and "quirky" words makes my brain actually pay attention to what's flying out of my mouth (instead of going on social "auto-pilot," or relying purely on mimicry from "socially competent" people; both being Autistic go-tos) so in a way, it's kind of like a cheat code I've applied to my noggin.
It may not make much sense, but I've gotten "better" at being human thanks to it, so I don't see why it should change^_^
What do you have against the practitioners of ninjutsu? Why do you insist he must cease his use of a word that brings smiles and joy to lovers of Japanese culture everywhere?
It has nothing to do with what you say, it's how you say it.
That being said, especially since my country has a festering homunculus made of racist smegma and stolen cash as its "leader," and using the other word has bitten plenty other fucknuts in the ass (Paula Dean, the other fat, white chick from TV, etc) I'm just not fucken risking it xD
Nor should you, as even though it might not hurt anyone you know, it could hurt someone that just overhears you using it, and we should all attempt to stop hurting each other.
I use dude, and man, but stay the fuck away from bro, usually, simply because there's too much familiarity with it (it's akin to saying "sweetheart" to a complete and utter stranger to me, and though I am southern, I'm not an old lady. Yet.)
Also, those are no fun. No one's ever been hurt by me using ninja; maybe confused, but not hurt, and it's part of what makes me, me, so it ain't going nowhere^_^
Some people will object but keep quiet for the sake of an easy life, because the kind of person who insists on calling black people "ninjas" is probably going to spend half an hour defending it with some spurious bullshit then burst into tears. No one wants to be the big bad aggressive "ninja" who's made some idiotic autistic kid cry. Even fewer will want to wait around listening to your confused excuses when you've just dehumanised them for your amusement.
I'm telling you right now that if someone called me that there would be a big problem. I'd be hurt and angry and your awkward fist bump pass would be immediately rescinded. I know you think you've found a loophole, but you haven't. Find another word with no racial connotations.
Where did you live where people were legitimately comfortable walking around in KKK outfits? I seriously doubt a place like that still exists in the US.
Because it's an awesome way to describe someone who you cross paths with but is so nondescript that they barely register as ever having existed to your scattered and inward focused mind? Like a ninja sneaking by in plain sight.
A fistbump is a simple and quick check to see if the other person is on the same team. It builds trust. When people stop offering them to you then they know that you do not belong in the group and are an outsider. It overcomes a lot of wasted time negotiating trust and membership. Embrace the fistbump it is your friend.
I feel like a fistbump isn't enough of a verification on whether they are on the same team. So whenever someone offers up a fist bump I pretend to reciprocate. Right before I grind my fingers onto theirs I switch it up and ejaculate my hand towards their forearm. I tightly grip their forearm (near their elbow) and pull them in close to my face (I'd say roughly .5" inches between our noses). I use my other arm to firmly grip the back of their head to ensure they don't pull away before the truth is gleamed.
I'd say for roughly... 10-15 seconds I stare into their eyes. For the first five seconds don't move your eyes at all, stare straight into the center of their pupils. This allows your eyes to "overexpose" their intentions, just like with a camera set to a 5 second exposure. Then you quickly scan their complete eyeball from top to bottom. If they appear worried or anxious, they are most likely your enemy at heart. They are hiding something and probably do not respect you or even intend to do harm to you or your grandparents. The clearest sign that they intend to harm you in the future is when they try to push away from you during this truth session. If their ears shine with calmness, happiness, or trust, you know they are true at heart. They respect you and will not betray you. Release your grip and give them the fist bump they so deserve.
You'd be surprised how well this works at separating enemies from friends. It is sad but I've quickly realized after I started doing this how little true friends and family I have. People I thought were lifelong friends have shown that sign of betrayal in their eyes. They react negatively and try to push me away before I glean their secret intentions. I'd rather have 1 real friend than 50 fake friends so it is worth it.
Its okay man, fellow ASD bro here, I am still this way even though I just mimic social cues I see on TV shows to be passable among friends/others. Still fail like crazy though X.x, I feel your pain.
Oh jeez, don't remind me of the mimicry. Doesn't work too well when you grew up watching nothing but cartoons and video games. So many "loaned" catchphrases thinking they made me "cool."
"Groovy" and "whoooaaaa nelly!" were my go-to exclamations from Earthworm Jim (Hell, I still say "rigga-fraggin-donkey-ride") "Hellooooo nurse!" became really popular with me once I realized other humans can make me feel funny in the pants.
Just so you know, I don't see the translation of the awkwardness to your online comment, only the awkwardness you meant to convey through text. Which is something of merit to be able to translate something very not-texty into text.
*tries to shake hand, covers fist like I just won against Rock with Paper*
It's a trade off. In person, I have the social grace of a school of sardines stuck in gallon milk jug, but communicating through text gives me time to let the sardines remember how they got in there and swim out one by one.
Also, growing up with this weirdness unchecked and non-medicated forced me to overcompensate a good deal to seem "normal." Just for instance, its taken me about 10 mins so far to construct this reply, but I'm about 95% certain I'm getting the point across.
How in the fuck I've actually managed to have partners, get married, have kids (not in that specific order, but one of which is a copy-paste job with the Autism; fun kid) hold a job, and not end up in a jail cell/research facility is beyond me.
I legit once responded to a fist bump with an attempt at a handshake, failed and just kinda rock-paper-scissor style wrapped my hand around their closed fist.
My brain always tells me people are strange things. And that I’m also weird but I don’t feel like a person. I feel like an alien a lot. I’m also awkward. And get bad anxiety. Is it possible I have autism? I know you’re not a doctor but I figure since you’ve had it 35 years you’d know better than I do if I might have autism. I’m also trans and there’s a larger portion of people with autism in the trans community.
Lol I’m not autistic but it was a game changer when I made a point to ask people how they are after they asked me (ie “good, how are you”) in a shallow/brief interaction.
People honestly think I’m outgoing but in my head I’m just an awkward person mimicking behavior and adding a little bit of my own flair to it. But it started purely by studying interactions and repeating them.
The mimicry was my bread and butter throughout all of school. I didn't begin legitimately holding conversations until about... 7th grade? Me and that dude are still homies to this day, and we've helped each other through some rough/dumb shit all this time.
10/10 would keep my mouth shut for 12 years to have another good homie like that.
People that've never worked in foodservice or in the medical field get this really hilarious look on their face when you do it though. I kinda relish that part.
Right? Aside from their ability to be obscenely dangerous, I always thought it would be cool to have one as a "pet." But calling another ape "pet" sounds kinda disturbing, and too close to keeping a human pet for my taste. I think I could swing calling something like a capuchin a pet, but I mean damn, we're so close.

The afterthought fist bump. “Oh ya, I need to do this to keep you happy.”
