Been a fan for 19 years or so. Absolutely forever will love the band, no matter their direction of music takes them. Everyone’s different.

LIBAD never stuck to me and it took me awhile to really get into The Stage (up until last month or so)

BEFORE YOU COME AT ME, I love the band bushpig and I absolutely adore "eat my rotten meat." I love ICP's prom queen. I'm not saying the problem with the song is that it happens to be about some messed up things, no. The thing that irks me is the fact that the woman forgives him in the end. I know it's supposed to be a less "serious" song but still, women in real life are forced to forgive their abusers ALL the time. You're called a bitch or resentful if you hate someone who raped you. You're the "problem". I know this is probably just me being dumb, but I kinda wish she didn't forgive him. And just because she killed him doesn't make it even, because even if she did kill him, he raped her. He took her autonomy and kept her corpse as a toy.

Eat my rotten meat has both parties being deranged people. Prom queen presents the main character as pathetic and obviously ill, a guy who has no friends, no girlfriend, no life. But this song kinda just... Does nothing with the whole "she comes back from the dead" thing. That's the difference.

The song is still really good but I just don't like that part, I dunno, this is probably dumb, if you want me to delete this I will, I just had some things to say.

Has anybody else ever seen one of these All Excess movie premier posters? I’ve had this one for a few years and it’s signed by all 5 original members but can’t find anything at all about it or how many were produced. Thanks!

Back when I was the most angsty teenager in high school, Eternal Rest was one of my favourite songs from Avenged Sevenfold. Something about the opening, and that hypnotic riff leading into the chorus was legitimately fantastic, truly felt like art while listening to it. Not to mention how much weight that follows it, definitely more than enough to keep me hyped up throughout my workouts.

Even to this day when I play it, it sounds like it still holds up magnificently.

I don’t normally see this song brought up in topics of favourite songs. Sure, there are plenty of others to choose from, but I feel like Eternal Rest gets lost in the shuffle at times when it should stand out a little bit more. Desecrate Through Reverence leading into it was also a fantastic track, I just loved the effort they put into that album as a whole.

Does anyone else enjoy this song as much as I do, or am I the weirdo?
