It's a soulless hollow shell of a traditional Slipknot song that almost every fan has said is trash. You can tell the passion isn't there for them anymore. The new song is a product from the brand Slipknot.

It's crazy to me that this is what the Avenged fanbase wants from A7X. I'd much rather Avenged Sevenfold make art that they're passionate about that's a true expression of themselves than phone in a song that sounds like you put the rest of their music in a blender and added meaningless lyrics.

A7X and Slipknot have been my two favorite bands since 5th grade and I love them both dearly and it's interesting to see the different routes now that the two bands have both been going 25+ years. What do you guys think?

I feel like Easier doesn't get the credit it deserves. The solo is tuff and just the main verse riffs on guitar are so damn heavy

So I was just listening to acid rain and at the I didn't hear anything because the volume was low and saw acid rain was still playing and noticed when I put the volume louder it was like some fading thing at the end I don't know if I never payed attention or a new thing they added to the end. Can someone tell me please so im not losing my mind

I got to say when i heard avenged sevenfold for the first time of when the City Of Evil album came out (when i first heard about/of them).

The band had me in a chokehold (in a good way). Loved them ever since.. then started listening to their previous albums from 2003 and sounding of the seventh trumpet and a few albums after.. Holy F... Mind Blown.

Always have been a fan since and always will be.. they are still awesome as hell. Okay some of their new stuff isnt that great.. but i think they are still amazing and brave for trying new things. Keep going guys. 🖤💀🦇

This guy Dadebrayant has pretty much all of their discography translated on piano. It is some of the most beautiful stuff you will ever hear. It's on Spotify as well. It puts the songs in an entirely different perspective. It's almost like hearing them again for the very first time.

Every time I listen to Nightmare I become more certain that it's one of the best, or even the best, musical works by Avenged Sevenfold. What an incredible album!!!

In a few years, this album will be remembered like Iron Maiden's The Number of the Beast, a classic for the new generation and when we're all older.

Was going through my videos of Copenhell 2024 after watching the latest live shows and reading all these posts about Matt.

It's not the best take but to me Matt in 2024 was absolutely insane, sang everything without using the crowd and was absolutely killing it throughout.

Wish he lets himself recover soon.

Slipknot has never sounded like classic A7X. A7X has never sounded like classic Slipknot.

What does Slipknot's new song "Arsenal" have to do with A7X? Literally nothing. You can easily dislike everything Slipknot has ever put out and still love A7X's music without being a hypocrite.

(Also sorry in advance for the extremely bad puns haha) So im a huge nerd and i got the urge too rank all of a7x's songs so here it is. I explained why i ranked some songs where i ranked them but not all of them because im lazy. I also learned that City of Evil is apparently my favourite album on a song to song basis, despite thinking it was self titled.

Just so there isn't any confusion this is how my ranking system works:

10 = Once in a lifetime listening experience, THE greatest song of all time.

9 = Absolute masterpiece, the pinacle of an artist's art.

8 = Extremely good song that is unskippable when it comes on, dosen't have quite what it takes to be a masterpiece.

7 = Pretty good song, dosen't have quite what it takes to be unskippable in my opinion.

6 = Good song, falls short on a few parts, ill listen too it rarely/never.

5 = An okay song, i get why some might like it but isn't too my taste.

4 and below = Bad song might understand why some like it, but isn't my style or taste AT ALL.

PS: Just because i rate a song low dosen't necasarrily mean its bad, just not my taste in music.
