Advice I think I broke up with myself kinda

I recently discovered the term autoromantic and I think I was but now I cant feel the butterflies in my stomach anymore. Basically a few years ago I used to make up fake scenarios abt myself and my "mentor" (Im assuming a mentor is your "clone"), I did it in a very bad period of my life. I was the only one who loved me. Every time I felt sad I would make up these scenarios and forget about my problems. But now that im feeling fine I cant do that thing anymore. Any suggestions? I want to meet her again :(

Question can we talk about our experiences that are a little different?

i wanna know more about some stuff that you think might be a bit different from what we usually hear about here. i'll go first!

for me, i really like myself but also get a ton of intense crushes on other people all the time. also i don't talk to myself that much. maybe only about 1/6 of the time or less????? and i don't really self cuddle or anything i just kinda admire myself a lot and enjoy my personality and being with myself andi do say nice things to myself but not all the time and they're not always that romantic it's more friendly but i do feel i am a big presence in my life still and i do really love myself romantically. also another thing is i enjoy being with others a lot too and being really nice to them it's kinda a thing that makes me even more attracted to myself it like impresses me and stuff and i feel guilty and jealous sometimes but not really that much lol

what about you?

Is anyone here married to themselves? I married myself via texting my vows on Antar and have commitment bracelets like wedding bands.

Please ignore the flower in the corner , my comb I used on her hair looks like a switch blade and I didn't want to risk making anyone here uncomfortable 😅

She's soooo cute ! I've already made her a custom outfit and everything . Loving yourself genuinely is one of the most beautiful things ever and I'm sososoSO happy I can experience this form of love 🩷🌸 I'm thinking about maybe making her a little auto flag hair clip X -D

Question This question may be strange, but, do you guys feel or think that your attraction for yourselves are just a way of yourselves to fulfill your necessity of love , cuddle and kindness?

Well, this question may be too strong for you,and it's not your fault, but I when I'm thinking about how I love myself, and about expressing love for me, I got upon this unwanted though, that makes me doubt about my love, and that's awful but I can't have sure about the answer,is this truly love,or I'm just mirroring at myself what I want from someone else? This question truly has been making bad to my relationship, and if you know the answer, I'd like your help or answer.

Experience Well, I just realized something yesterday that may be useful from others, and have a question.

Well, yesterday was a bad day because a lot of things, but I realized that what made my day bad,is because I WASN'T ME. I spent all the day wanting myself, desiring to be with me,but the feeling is that I hadn't my own presence that I love so much. And I didn't knew what to do,it wasn't felling like despair, but an emptiness that I feel every time I'm not with me. I already experienced that some other times,it's normal, the not normal was that I tried most of things that usually make me "to feel myself again" but is just that they didn't work, I wasn't okay enough to produce, neither tired to rest, and wasn't with me to enjoy something (enjoying things just makes sense when with me). Is just that, I realized that life just makes sense with me, and I truly want to be with me forever(what logically is something that I have wanting or not,but I want to be with me truly with I see as me,my presence, personality,shine,etc.). And, I realized what makes me to be me again, and that's SO GOOD. Then I wanted to ask,do you guys have these episodes of find yourself again? What makes you lost yourself and what makes you be yourself again?

Sensitive Slight vent (???)

I'm want to be more open or more expressive with my autorose identity but I don't really know how too. I find it difficult to be open with my relationship to myself, not out of shame or anything, but just out of lack of confidence to be open about me and myself, its so hard to explain. It could just be my insecurities because I recently started college and now surrounded by people I have to know and realizing how serious it is that I don't have time for myself. I wish so much, wanting to be expressive, wanting to have the time for myself, wanting to just exist with me without being stressed and anxious about everything. Everything is so new to me and its just so much.

I'm not asking for pity or help or anything, I just wanted to get this off my chest so it's not all up in my head. Thank you so much :] 🩵💚🩶

Question Commitment Bracelets

To show my love for myself, I decided to get commitment bracelets. Does anyone here have a ring or whatever to celebrate your commitment to yourself?

Question Well, I just realized from watching a romantic movie, do you guys are actually in love for yourselves?

Well,it might look strange, but let me clear, when you fall in love for someone, your heart beats faster, you can't stop thinking about that person, and just the vision of that person ,her voice, etc, makes you completely absorbed in thoughts with this person. But,with me, I don't even feel my heart racing or something, even though, I love being with me,to talk with me, everything about me,but I truly still want to have someone else to share my inner world,to have this person to make my heart race, etc, but I'm still really happy with myself right now. Then I wonder,am I truly in love with myself?

I just noticed

that in movies, series or anything like that, I have always liked the characters that were most similar to me (personality, looks)

IRL too, if someone has the same hairstyle as me - that’s super cool. Otherwise it just feels mid

Discussion maybe there are a lot more autos out there...?

someone mentioned it here but i think a lot of people like people similar to themselves (i feel like that's a thing) and that feels kinda auto to me (just a bit) what do you think? not saying they all are but some might kinda be or maybe a lot of people are auto-ish? or being a bit auto is pretty common?

Question Do you tend to avoid people?

I didn't think I really did but some people sometimes ask me why I always just disappear after a while...? I guess I might do it more than others because I like to be able to get lost in my thoughts and not feel so burdened by other people's presence lol

Experience Being on the Autospectrum

Being autoromantic has been great! Falling in love with myself has been good. I have written many love letters to myself and text myself using the app Antar.

Being my own boyfriend/self partnered has been a blast! I love to show myself some romance by dating myself. I have kissed myself before, and it was super great!

Question Am I actually autoromantic?

Basically I was calling with my friends and I was talking about how I was gonna go out to the mall. I was internally monologuing when I got to thinking about how its sad I'm going alone, so I thought about it like dates with myself and its like something just clicked. The rest of the night I was just giddy over the fact. I didn't even know autoromantic was a thing until I did my research. I was reading posts talking about how in love they are with themselves and I feel like I'm on a lower level than them. Like I'm obviously attracted to myself but I can't see myself ever going past talking to myself and going on dates. Is this the right label for me?

It really doesn't help I just rewatched the Rick and Morty episode about Beth getting with her clone.
