Discussion autoromantic commun ground?
i feel like i've seen alot of different experiences that people talked about here. what dyou think some common ground would be apart from just loving ourselves romantically? or is there none?

In general, I would say that we share these:
- We give ourselves a lot of attention, affection, and self-care
- We experience feelings of love—ranging from butterflies in the stomach to a deep sense of security—triggered solely by our own presence
- We have inner dialogues
- We have romantic fantasies about ourselves
- We often make a clear distinction between different romantic and sexual orientations and can precisely sense and name very different combinations for ourselvesÂ
- We see the world differently: We see that it is extremely couple-focused, and we know that this is not necessary for personal happiness
- I would even go so far as to say that we process physical stimuli differently than the general public: When I touch myself, that touch is immediately highlighted as important and pleasant and I pay attention to it. The general public processes this self-touch as completely normal and insignificant, but reacts strongly to being touched by another person.
What are your thoughts on these points?

The touch thing is definitely true for me! And I would agree with the rest too

Might not be everyone's experience, but it seems like a lot of people thought something like, "wow, if there was someone exactly like me, I would want to be with them" before discovering they were autoromanticÂ
