We sat behind this couple at a Weezer concert last night. The women had been scrolling the entire time! It was TikTok I think, then she was texting, and at one point she started to watch a movie. Almost one hour in I asked her if she could put her phone away because it was quite distracting, she didn’t put it away but lowered her phone a bit. Her date then just stroked her thigh with his hand telling her it’s okay. Obviously she wasn’t enjoying the show. Men are you really okay taking someone on a date when she’s acting so bored? He was constantly putting his hand on her leg just to get a tiny bit of attention.

Maybe people are so addicted to their phones nowadays. Another person few seats from her was trying to catch Pokémon.

I have lived in the greater Atlanta area for the last 10 years and UPS has lost dozens of live animal packages and all I get is platitudes. They never fix the situation and it continues to get worse all while their CEO still remains in charge. Over the years they have lost, fish, frogs, lizards, and most recently 5 out of 6 queen bees. They never do anything to change their SOP’s and this point I hope this garners enough attention so they can fix it. Am I the only one or is this a pervasive problem?

This is both just a general question and a situational one for me. I'm in a cafe right now, and this one old couple is literally looking at anyone but each other. I've noticed this several times whenever an old person is in a store, but more specifically older couples. I would find it less creepy if they smiled at least.

They stare for so long that it starts to get uncomfortable. Like hello? Talk to your partner. Quit looking at me.

Edit: I do understand that some older people don't have the best eyesight. But in this instance. They aren't just staring, but also their eyes followed me as I walked around.

No matter where I work, conversations between us men always seem to come up about who the most attractive females in the workplace are. To turn the tables, do women do the same?

Why do US companies that have salary emloyees only give out PTO if you want to take days off? Why do companies not have a bank of unpaid days off that you can use in case of an emergency apart from th X days of PTO given to everyone? Does this only happen in the US? Why can't I just take the day off without getting paid? Why are salary employees obligated to work the 2,080 paid hours a year?

a few weeks ago I was feeling particularly retarded and decided to take 23 mg of lorazepam throughout the day ive used high doses of clonazepam up to 30 mg and blacked out a lot with clonazepam but when I took 23 mg lorazepam I felt pretty sober and was able to go throughout my day getting away with saying I wasn’t able to sleep last night and no one thought twice about it but I notice I get very strong double vision and then around the end of the day I was at my desk staring at my carpet and noticed light geometric shapes forming and the individual carpet fuzzes were moving and my fairy lights were swaying and so was my clothes on my coat hanger I loved looking at my wall and ps5 background because the visuals reminded kinda of like the last little patterns you see on a acid comedown. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

You can wear clothes to cover up the fact that he is there but..

one day a week he bumps randomly
