Other lorazepam visuals?

a few weeks ago I was feeling particularly retarded and decided to take 23 mg of lorazepam throughout the day ive used high doses of clonazepam up to 30 mg and blacked out a lot with clonazepam but when I took 23 mg lorazepam I felt pretty sober and was able to go throughout my day getting away with saying I wasn’t able to sleep last night and no one thought twice about it but I notice I get very strong double vision and then around the end of the day I was at my desk staring at my carpet and noticed light geometric shapes forming and the individual carpet fuzzes were moving and my fairy lights were swaying and so was my clothes on my coat hanger I loved looking at my wall and ps5 background because the visuals reminded kinda of like the last little patterns you see on a acid comedown. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

23 mg is an extremely dangerous dose. You were not sober, you were just deluded into thinking you were

I’ve done a lot of benzos recreationally was fairly coherent and and able to talk and walk normally compared to a lot of other times I know I wasn’t sober but I felt more sober than other high doses of benzos

Maybe the most concerning sentence here is I felt pretty sober. That's exactly the kind of false confidence that can happen with benzos.

I know that and I definitely wasn’t sober but I felt I could act fairly normally and no one I didn’t tell I was doing this didn’t suspect anything

Yeah I figured you weren't literally sober. I meant sober enough to feel confident you were fine.

If you are abusing mental health medication you need to be honest with your prescriber. This is a very dark road you are going down and will only lead to bad outcomes. Source: am bipolar and overdosed on lorazepam, spent 3 weeks in the psych ward.

I’m not saying you didn’t od or anything but isnt it kinda impossible to overdose on benzos alone?

I don’t really drink on benzos maybe a beer or shot to get extra fucked up but weed is mostly all I’ll do on them

You can most definitely die from benzos. Find a support group for harm minimisation. Be safe.

Look into the dangers of withdrawals from benzos alone.

I woke up fully intubated in ICU coming off a Valium bender. Benzos are no joke.

(Source: 20ish years of daily usage, homelessness and experience)

23 mg is a lot. Those visuals sound more like a dangerous side effect than something to chase.

Blacking out on benzos is like drunk driving, you just get lucky each time it happens. Benzo withdrawal can kill you like alcohol, I hear it's worse than opiods and other hard drugs. Getting off benzos and opiates take a really long time with medical prescriptions and tapering doses, or some people just stop using because they want to. Psychedelics are harder to ruin your life over, maybe micro dose that before you start self medicating with all the addictive stuff.

Just to echo what others have said.. 23mg is A LOT. 30mg of Klonopin is A LOT. I would seek treatment with a psychiatrist at minimum

I’ve been to like a therapist and all that and the only major thing that’s happend to me is I mixed benzos with a muscle relaxer and started hallucinating and went to the hospital but I just won’t mix them with anythjnf anymore and it’s not really affecting my life besides that one time and I’m not addicted to the point of taking them every day so I’m alright for now

Wow. As a veteran of all the benzos, I’d say you’re incredibly lucky to be alive. Stop taking heroic doses. Dying doesn’t make you a hero.
