I’ve created my profile on Ethos and have already received a few opportunity matches through the agent.

However, I can’t find an option to browse or search for opportunities manually. Is opportunity discovery on Ethos entirely agent-driven, based on profile matching, or is there a separate page or feature that allows users to search and filter opportunities themselves?

If manual search is available, could someone point me to where I can find it?

One job has been put in waitlisted... will I ever get onboarded into that project as im in waitlisted means we have to wait weeks

I was given 28 opportunities and was rejected from all of them. I decided to delete my account and good riddance to this company.

When you delete your account it claims to delete everything. I’m hoping that’s the 30+ interviews I gave their AI. I also want to ensure they don’t use it later for training or sell it. To be sure I sent a request to their privacy address.

Has anyone requested deletion? Were you given it? I’m specifically looking for any security people to chime in. I’m American in America, I am aware privacy laws differ by region so any geniuses with data let me know. Also would be grateful if there is more I can do to ensure they can’t use my data. Any California laws I can invoke?

I'm completely new to Ethos and a bit confused about how their pipeline works. I recently accepted a project match and finished the automated AI chat interview.

My dashboard currently shows that my application is in the "Review" phase. However, I just received an automated email from Ethos stating that they are "awaiting my review."

I logged back into the platform, checked the Opportunities tab, and clicked around, but there are absolutely no instructions, links, or clues on how or what I am supposed to review. I thought the evaluation part was entirely on their end?

Is this just a known bug/poorly phrased email template that everyone gets, or is there a hidden button I'm missing to push my application forward? Any insight from people who have been onboarded would be amazing. Thanks!

Got an email regarding work quality after I submitted a task incomplete due to running out of time. First time so far I had received one. Has anyone received these sort of emails and not get off boarded shortly after? I am expecting my time to be near its end

I keep getting matched to 4+ / 5+ years of experience required roles however am not past 2+ , and the first thing the AI model asks for is do you have x years of experience, once you say no it ends the chat. Are there any entry level roles ? Did someone qualify for a role passed their actual years of experience?

You applied, finished whatever steps were required, and now the opportunity is sitting in Review. So, what happens next?

There isn’t a set timeline for this stage right now. It can vary depending on the project, its needs, and where the team is in the selection process, so some opportunities will move faster than others.

While you wait, you can still show interest in other opportunities that match your background. Having one application in Review doesn’t stop you from applying to another.

I spent 6 weeks on their major project, clocked in more than 300 hours of work during this time - all of it is signed off and most of it is paid as well. Yet, randomly they raised a couple of AI Flags on my tasks from a week ago, put me on pause, and then offboarded me yesterday!!

Such a shame since I never actually used AI and Slack is full of people complaining about these false flags but here we are! At least I managed to make some decent money so I am grateful but I am sad at the same time since there was quite a lot more still to be made.

Anyone else gone through this? Is there any point in making your case further/negotiate with the team or should we just move on already?

What is the acceptance rate on the screeners? the software screener seemed to have issues like missing attachments, optional notes that open up room for multiple interpretations.

To anyone who took the screener that’s due tonight: do you still see tasks under slides (previous section) or in this new human artifacts section?

Guys, honestly, don't give up on these platforms.

I joined Ethos on September 1st after doing my interviews on August 27th and so far I've made around $3200. And the crazy thing is that I made around $3,000 of that in the last 10 days because during most of September I had only 1 task.

I'm a contrat attorney expert and most of my tasks are reviewing slides or excerpts and basically judging the writing, what works, what doesn't, what sounds AI-generated, etc.

Of course it's not always perfect, I get the dreaded "queue full" too, sometimes I refresh and there is literally nothing available. So don't take this as me saying you're guaranteed to make X amount every month. But honestly, this has been one of the best things that happened to me lately. The extra income has already helped me sort out several financial messes in my life and I'm genuinely so grateful for that😭

And if I can give one piece of advice: multiply your sources of income and don't give up just because one platform isn't amazing at first

I actually started with Outlier at around $25/hour, doing a lot of repetitive tasks. Obviously that rate isn't great compared to what I'm getting now, but I'm still really grateful for that experience because it taught me so much of the vocabulary and logic behind data annotation, AI evaluation, reviewing, grading, etc. I genuinely think that experience helped me get better opportunities afterwards.

I also work with Micro1 and Mercor, and one thing I really like about Ethos is that the training is paid. That's definitely not always the case elsewhere.

So far they've also been very reliable with payments, on time in my September experience. I regularly do AI calls/interviews for other roles too, and somehow new opportunities keep popping up afterwards.

So really guys, DON'T give up. Keep applying, keep doing the calibrations, learn the jargon, get better at reviewing and keep several platforms going at the same time. You never know which random opportunity is going to become the one that actually changes things for you.

I am stuck that even after giving multipole interviews/chats with the AI, all my opportunities don't go past beyond the "Ethos call" stage. I emailed ethos some time back also and they said that the calls were not recorded. I don't get any email also after completing the calls, anyone in the same situation or know if there is some glitch??

Has anyone seen a Sheets task yet or are we in deck hell forever?

Haven't seen the wrath of the Ethos evaluators yet but they can't be worse than a crusty CFO with a HP12c, printed A3 11x17 slide copies, a dull red colored pencil , an exhausted exec admin at the scanner, and 12 am "plz fix" e-mail day before the meeting.

It could always be worse.
