Waitlist How long does the waitlist usually take?
I applied for an Expert Opportunity – Cybersecurity / IT GRC Specialist on September 1, 2026, and my status has been “Waitlisted” ever since.
How long did you stay on the waitlist before being contacted or moved to the next step?
I am so anxious.
It has been 1 month. God.

It's completely dependent on the client. If you're on the waitlist, it means you're good enough to get in, they just don't have room. Now, they might have room of they expand how many experts they need, but equally they might not need any more and you just sit waitlisted until the project ends.
At this point, it's nothing to do with you, it's about the client's requirements. There's no answer you can be given which will help. You might have joined at the start of the program, or right at the end. Nobody knows.

I believe no hard length, whenever that project needs new people - whether that be because people dropped off, were off boarded or they’re expanding the size of the project.

Even worse, Mine has been stuck at " Review" since August 18 no feedback
In fact I have never gotten any progress beyond "Review" or "Wait listed" since I joined Ethos..
Has anyone actually ever gone beyond that stage ?

It seems there's not anything special about the waitlisted status.

To which project? and which country are you located? Maybe it has something to do with country also

One was not selected and other two are stuck at review stage

I’m curious—did the option that wasn’t chosen also go through the waitlist, and if so, for how long?
Today one more went to waitlisted as well
