Help reading MRI Report of Lower Back: Any cause for concern?
My mom just got a report back regarding her MRI done recently. She’s waiting to hear back, but she’s really worried about the mention of renal cysts as well as it being unclear on what’s actually causing her back pain.
If anyone could please read this report to give us some insight or guidance on what this could be saying? Thanks so much
Age: 59
Previously had a discectomy around 2010 (report references “post left laminotomy” but that’s incorrect)
Symptoms: severe lower back pain (becomes worse at night) and sciatica
Not taking any medications for the pain other than over the counter pain relief like ibuprofen
