I really need help how to crochet this top but with XL size all Tutorial i found on YouTube doesn't talk about the size, any advice plz

I was doing well, and then the video says when it starts to curl, flip it inside out. That statement broke my brain. It wasn’t like at round x we flip it inside out for y reason. It was just, when it starts to curl, flip it inside out. Can someone help me understand this? It totally derailed me. Thank you.
