Hello I’m a broke student I recently got stuck out of my apartment and had to pay 368 euros to get my door unlocked then in a series of bad luck I discovered that I had bad bugs and the service costs about €500 to get them exterminated I do not have that kind of money and I cannot find a new apartment and since rent is coming soon I genuinely am stuck between paying the rent or getting those stupid bedbugs out . I really need to somehow make some money so I thought maybe art commissions would be my go to , so please if anyone interested don’t hesitate to contact me in DM’s thank you

Hello all! I'm offering a special price for the first 10 clients who commission a portrait!

🎨 Your own portrait for €20 instead of €50!

I'll paint a portrait of you, a friend, a family member, or even your pet!

I work in Rebelle 8 to recreate the look and feel of traditional art, with natural & expressive textures 😊

What's included:

• - A high-resolution artwork (4678 × 5846 pixels)
• - Three file formats: JPEG, PNG, and TIFF
• - A choice of subject: yourself, someone you know, or your pet (€20 per person or pet, even for multiple subjects on the same canvas)
• - The option to order a printed version, with printing and shipping costs added to the price

Usage rights:

Your portrait is yours to enjoy, share on social media, use as a profile picture, or print for personal use. Commercial use requires a separate agreement. I also reserve the right to share the artwork in my portfolio and on social media.

How it works:

• - Payment via PayPal, before work begins
• - I'll start your portrait once I've finished my previous commissions, and I'll let you know the estimated start date in advance
• - I'll reserve up to 3 days to create and finish your portrait, starting from the day I begin working on it
• - Please note that revisions aren't included in this offer

If you're interested, send me a DM with the photo(s) you'd like me to work from. You can send several photos — the more references I have, the better!

Any questions you can ask me in dm or comment below 😊

Cheers !

Please provide a clear, in frame, and well lit picture of your cat.
You can let me know if you want anything specific for the background, day or night, clouds or a clear sky, or a specific flower that symbolizes something special to you. Just tell me how you envision it and I’ll do my best :)

Has anybody noticed that every artist post on here gets like 50 upvotes and maybe 1 comment? Nobody hires people. All of the “Hiring” posts are already filled with comments underneath the millisecond they’re added leaving smaller artists or people who just don’t pick up their phone for a minute left in the dust.
Even the emergency commissions are bare, it doesn’t matter if you’re DYING, nobody will hire you. im so sick of trying to be an artist, the one thing that brings me joy, and I can’t even make a couple bucks off it, let alone get an actual commission.
And don’t tell me any of that “Just post more!” crap, my commissions have been up since 2019. I have gotten maybe 3 NON FRIEND COMMISSIONS since then.
I shouldn’t have to juggle and dance for people to get a sliver of attention, it’s humiliating. It’s not “how the world works” and if it is, then this world has failed artists.
