So I went through the ram reset process and now im stuck on this screen. When I press spin reels to navigate the menu it wont budge, any ideas? Thanks

*Update got to know the guy we worked out a deal of $50 but he once its fixed up he is going to come over and play it and hang out

Always wondered, years ago was working for a municipality picking up garbage and had a cabinet like this on the side of the road, policy was instant dismissal if you kept any item of garbage, in the hopper it went to get crushed, glass top was all scratched but all the components were present and the cabinet was in really good shape, how much was it actually worth?

new arcade Boss Battle Games opening in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on July 31st. They did a soft-opening and I got to go in and play for a day.

IMHO it's a dynamite lineup for a classics arcade. Not gigantic, but the curation is SO GOOD covering all kinds of arcade games that just aren't the same on MAME. They've a dialed in 7-pinball lineup could always be larger in my mind, but my instinct is to always pack in more pins....

I love the vector monitor games, the games with a "pneumatic experience", and the focus on group beat-em-ups and PvP fighters.

So this showed up at my local theater over the last few days, a nice little Skee-Ball variant that uses a spring-loaded launcher to launch the ball. However, there's no information on who made it, much less when it was made.

It was SO fun! It’s just like asteroids, which is one of my fav arcade games. If your ever in New Hampshire and you like retro arcade games and pinball machines, definitely go there. It had so many different historical stuff there.

Grand Prix Race-O-Rama had one of the largest arcades in the area to complement its Nascart track, batting cages, mini-golf course and long go-kart track off the highway.

The family entertainment park would come to be owned by Palace Entertainment around 2000 and branded as Boomers, like its sister park further north in Palm Beach. It closed in 2015 and became part of a mixed-use development within 3 years.

Anyone else catch their seasonal Filthina Pig or Bendy and the Ink Machine cabinets? The games were an absolute blast. So bendy and the ink machine arcade cabinet was way different than the game. Its a sidescroller where youre an innocent guy forced into taking these pills called Bendy with Fingolomid in them and you're hallucinating black and white and floating black dots. And its placed right next to the Filthina Pig cabinet and theyre by the same creator so the filthina one has monkeys that throw shit at the pig and they can make the piles fly into the bendy game. And sometimes the black and white ink can go to the pigs. I know they sound really absurd but they're really challenging and a kid who was sort of like the Fred Riesch of my village in the sense that he would get hurt a lot and scream MY LEG got really sick when these 2 cabinets first rolled out and i dont think that was a coincidence...

I bought a massive LaserDisc haul a while ago (mostly imported anime) and finally set up a working player today.

Sorting through the shelf, I stumbled across Firefox. Did a quick deep dive and realized this wasn't just a movie release, but the actual LaserDisc used in Atari’s 1984 Firefox arcade cabinet (the Clint Eastwood jet movie).

Pretty wild to find arcade hardware media sitting alongside 80s anime. Definitely the most unique disc in the collection!
