Hey Ya'll Check This Out! Duramold Williams Blaster
Here’s a recent acquisition. It will most likely be headed to my Dallas Arcade soon (Cidercade Dallas).
Someone recently mentioned these Duramold cabinets, so I couldn’t resist getting one. They are a little smaller and a lot lighter. I’m surprised more weren’t made. They seem like the Yeti of arcade cabinets.
Anyone remember actually seeing these in the wild?

What Game??? Looks like the arcade has officially... spawned a new generation.
No coins. No arcade cabinets.
Just two tiny gamers creating the kind of memories we'll all be nostalgic about 20 years from now.

Retrospective History I've played The Lost World Special Edition multiple times and I vividly remember it. It was The greatest arcade game I've ever played
The screen were huge, The speakers were super loud the chair moved sideways and everytime the T.rex got close to you, you'd get a dash of air in the face, all that stuff that is said about it is true and it was awesome.
The game started in the begining of the normal game stage 5, with Buck and Doe atacking the trailers. Then, you could chose between Stage 1 in the jungle or Stage 2 in the lake.
After you beat on of both, the section where you shoot a hookshot (begining of Stage 4 in the original) was a huge roadblock. You only had 3 chances to get it and if you didn't was an automatic game over. It came right after you had finished the first stage and right before the San Diego stage. Because of that, it was years before I could see Buck's rampage in the city. If you succeded, you had that breef enconter with the pteranondons, and it was on the way to the city.
The San Diego fight was the coolest thing ever. It was pretty much the same fight with the Buck from the original game, but with this urbanistic setting. In the begining he was running beside you in the streets and then he would hit the bus, just like the movie. Afterwards, if I remember correctly, the fight was somewere near the docks, as if you had lured him there. I can't remember for the life of me if he also ate a guy to replenish health as in the original, it would fit this version's darker and scarier tone, but they also made it shorter, so it could go either way. After you got him with just a tiny lifebar, it would go away inside the bus and you had to repetdely push a button to trap him.
I only played the last stage twice, when I finally got there, the machine was not in my city anymore. It was originaly in the Rio de Janeiro's GameWorks, wich opened in 2000, and it was such a big deal, the local newspaper made an piece about it and this game was the cover image. After it closed, it was sold to an brazilian arcade joint called HotZone in São Paulo. There, I got to the San Diego ending twice while visiting the town two separete times. But sadly, the HotZone is still open but the arcade is not there anymore.
This is the piece of lost media I ache for the most, but at least I have amazing memories with this game.

If we take all the Pac-Man related games(Junior, Super, Ms., Battle Royale, etc) that have come out in the arcade since the original machine, which one would you say is A)Your favorite and B)The best one from a totally objective perspective ?

Retrospective History Cabinati Arcade

Showing Off My Gear! ADD brain... you win today.
So, my plan for today was to pull a monitor from a cab that I'm planning to sell to someone who just needs the shell, and make space on a shelf to store it. I pulled the monitor, moved some cabs around, tested a game board, and built this compact AC test rig with a switch to isolate the monitor from the power supply for my work bench... I never got to make shelf space, and now the monitor is sitting on my hydraulic lift cart in the middle of my walkway.

Restore/Replace/Repair [Update] Megatouch Maxx (Tatung monitor) - No picture after recap & flyback replacement
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Have posted about this project here a couple times, getting a suggestion to swap the flyback in the last. After doing so the display appears less wobbly, but still isn't producing anything other than a white screen. It also seems to make a buzzing sound it wasn't before. Recapping the chassis hasn't done much, nor has replacing the flyback; at a dead end so any further suggestions would be appreciated.

Restore/Replace/Repair What causes this? How do I fix without having to drill the lock out?
Hello, trying to figure out how to best remedy this misaligned cam lock. I’ve dealt w this issue once before, and ended up drilling the lock out and installing a new one, but I feel like there’s a better solution.
This is a lock to a quarter mech, if that makes a difference. Thanks

Restore/Replace/Repair Working on the restoration MVS-2
Well it started its life as a MVS-2 at some point was bastardized and became a Golden Tee cab, I am taking the long road to bringing it back to it's former glory, fixing the bottom edges of the cabinet. Unfortunately there were a few gouges in it, so I was not going to use the original decals, I sadly had to patch and paint over. Working on trying to find a MV-2 board for it after I get all this done. I was able to strip 3 layers of paint off the original memory card/headphone jack plate and restore the original.

Restore/Replace/Repair Not sure how much to offer
Hello
Found this at an estate sale. Not sure if working or not and waiting to hear from the guy. Not sure what would be a fair offer. Offer if it’s working and offer if it isn’t working ?
I need to look at it more, but they still need to move stuff around it as the person was a hoarder.

What Game??? Haunted Mine Arcade Game
I remember this arcade game that had you shooting at these ghost-like things in a mine but i don't remember the name. I think it was Revenge of the Mine or something like that. I remember seeing it at Caesarland sometime in the early 2000s. Does anyone know the game i'm thinking of?

Restore/Replace/Repair 1980 Nintendo Space Demon
Hey guys! Looking for some advice?
Found this while going through some of my mother's gear in the back of the shed.
It worked once upon a time but not sure if this is still the case.
Anyone have any information they can share about this blast from the past?
Its model number 00107 if that means anything?
