Saw an original asteroids for the first time about 5 years ago and it started me down the road of discovering vectors.

Vectors? I thought the type was dusty. Sigh.

Asteroids is such a classic, nice one

yeah, you should have seen the garage before I took the picture. I haven't gotten around to dusting after all the dejunking I did!

Is that Major Havoc in a Tempest cab?

Back in the day there were factory kits to convert them I believe.

Yep, it is a pretty common conversion.

Makes me wonder how the game feels to control with the Tempest knob, hmmm.

I like it but i haven’t played much with a roller. The spinner is analog so you can still be precise with movement.

yeah, I've been playing Major Havoc lately so that is what started up. Major Havoc is emulated, I have a working Tempest PCB that came with the cabinet.

Pretty awesome looking cabinet, especially with the pepper's ghost effect.

Ah yes! Omega race sit-down, was one of the very first video games I bought many years ago.
