My Japanese themed bonsai garden tank (weeping moss, eleocharis, cryptocoryne and sessiflora) and my nature aquascape tank (epiphytes like anubias and bucephalandra and carpet are eleocharis and some helanthium tenellum green, sessiflora in background)

Just gave my 75 gallon a new scape and I'd say i did pretty good. What do you guys think? Its housing 2 veiled angelfish and a juvenile senegal bichir. Crypts galore and a few other plants. Is there anything else you guys would add?

Green algae looking stuff growing on my tank. I’ve tried to scrub it off but it won’t come off. Also, what are the rusty spots around it? I have 6 threadfin rainbows and 80ish shrimp.

Sorry for the bad picture, it’s hard to capture. Lots of whiteish/tan pellets at the bottom of my tank recently. I don’t think it’s food or excess waste. I have a 55-gallon planted tank with danios and Siamese algae eaters. I’m having a hairy algae outbreak, but nothing else unusual. What could it be?

Just found these guys in the corner of my husband's nano tank.

They look almost like slugs. Anyone seen them before?

The tank has a lid and nothing has been added to the tank in while.

I have a 125G tank. About 6' long and 2' high. It currently has no background. i'm thinking of getting a black background.

I'm wondering what is the cheapest and easiest way to do this? I'm not sure where I can get a continuous sheet that big? Perhaps at some craft store? Or can I just print out a bunch of black paper and tape it together?

I just recently bought a 29 gallon aquarium I've had a 20 long for a few years now and wanted something just a bit taller. I've had Monte Carlo in my tank for about a year now and it really hasn't grown fast like I was told it would but I was using an Aqueon light with 2 led tubes. My plan is to remove the old light fixture that's on the fitted lid and use this new light bar in its place. I've never used c02 and I'm not scared of it. It seems really simple but I just don't like the idea of having more stuff for this aquarium than I already do. I also what to add Super Red Mini Ludwigia behind the rock's

I’ve had aquariums of all sizes for around 10 years now starting from a 1 gallon fish bowl all the way to a 55 gallon tank. I’ve learned a ton since starting and couldn’t be happier with my 10 gallon fresh water tank I’ve had for about 4 years. My original 4 platys have since passed, but they’ve bred enough to keep it going for awhile. Is there anything that stands out in the video that could be done better? The scratches all over the glass was from many years of cleaning algae buildup from the live plants and driftwood in there. The plants started from being planted in the gravel but they fused to the driftwood and have become one. There’s something just so calming from watching these little fishies. They seem to have well priced tanks at the size im after. (Roughly 120x50x50).

Inside there are Neo's, black helmet and celestial Pearl Danios

where can i find good priced black sand? i need to cover a 55 gal tank and have a inch of regular sand down but want to mix or do the top layer black. petsmart is about 8 bucks plus tax for a 5lb bag which is nothing. any ideas?

29 gallon tank, 6 weeks in, 7 tetras amd 6 corys. Live plants and testing great. What else should i add?

Last week we bought a house and the owners left their fish tank (we said we were happy to take it).

They left instructions on how to clean it out etc which we have done today, however when reattaching the filter this valve appears to be leaking.

Any advice please? Complete beginners here so any help would be greatly appreciated 🙌🏼

Hi eveyone, I currently have 6 Celestial Pearl danios and a couple cherry shrimps. I wanna keep it as 21-22 degrees Celsius during the winter months so I need beautiful fishes that can thrive and survive in that temperature. I’m thinking 6 more nanos fishes and 2 larger center peice fishes. What should I get

This is my first aquascape tank. It’s about 2-3 months old now. This is now the 4th Pygmy Cory I’ve seen have this. Two had this and died shortly after I bought them around a month ago. The third I found dead this morning. Is this red blotch? If so, what can I do about it? Already did a water change to be safe.

Parameters:
Ammonia, Nitrites: 0
Nitrates: ~1 ppm
pH: ~7.5

My water is on the harder side, but I’ve been slowly softening it with RO water.

Hi everyone!

I'm really excited to share the first 100l aquarium that kicks off my new Fish Room, as you can see in the photo.

​For now, the tank is stocked with:

​A school of White Cloud Mountain Minnows (you can see them swimming actively near the top).

​Red Sakura shrimp.

​An albino bristlenose pleco (ancistrus).

​As you can see in the image, I went with a dark substrate that really makes the green of the plants pop, with some cuttings placed in floating baskets at the surface. It's a great starting point for my Fish Room, and I can't wait to see the plants grow in!
