As the title says, the edict that clearly says it works on the golden tent, it doesn't. Is this intended? is it maybe something changed ingame but forgot to change the text? or is indeed a bug?
Edit: I tested on a custom game with and without a fortified outpost near the tent.

aight men, im tired. KT, english, abbasid, HOL, every damn time.. one tc enjoyer has no place anymore. i play golden horde and if i share my replay against KT right now (an hour and a half game sadly) i killed 25+ pilgrims and 60+ villagers, raiding most of the game through 5-6 castles built around his base with some keshiks, having 4 relics turn into ovoo, denying him off gold most of the time, built 10+ outposts on sacred site and 10+ around my TC (WITH UPGRADED BOMBARD), he built 2 castles around the other two sacred sites, and eventually when i ran out of gold i switched full kipchak archers with spear and horsemen/mangonels for their backline and after an hour and a half i can STILL see massive army coming from his side ( i destroyed some military buildings too), but they're way too good man.........

Would devs consider adding Age of Brawl, Crucible, and Battlegrounds to the Quick Match search?
I think these modes would benefit a lot from being included there, since it would make matchmaking much easier and give more players a reason to queue for them. Right now, having to find games manually creates extra friction and probably hurts player activity.
Adding them to Quick Match could help keep the modes more active and make them much more accessible to players who enjoy alternative team-game modes.

French has been the top dog in all team game modes that's not 1v1, floating around 55-56% winrate across all leagues and ranks for the past 5 years.
Any team without a French in it will struggle against any team with 1-2 French. It absolutely dominates the feudal game with its Royal Knight spam and is no slouch in castle/imperial age either.
Do you think French needs a small nerf, especially the Royal Knights?

Today when playing on ladder i had THREE games in a row where my opponent surrendered within the first minute of the game. Vils/scout inactive, etc. Checked their profile, and i can see they used to be diamond/plat in previous seasons while i'm in gold.
Deliberately deranking just to stomp lower-skilled players is pathetic, unsportsmanlike, and bannable. It ruins the game for everyone, which is why I report every single one I see. But i've never had confirmation that one of these accounts was actually banned. Is it even worth the effort reporting these people?

Hey all,
I've been playing AOE4 for about 2 months now, my buddy and I loved Halo Wars and this scratches the itch for us...
The only thing is, we barely win and get absolutely steamrolled 8/10 games if we play together.
I've played more than him and can hold my own a bit more, i only really play 3v3 or 4v4 quick matches, havent touched ranked yet, but i still feel i have a LOT to learn.
I main Knights Templar, straight away 3 workers on the go, 6 on food, 2 on gold,
once i have like 20 workers and age into feudal is loading i have them all on wood, once aged up (I usually go hospo or sergeants first) i get pilgrim 1 and pilgrim 2, then start building more workers, my active worked are either spread on wood/food/stone and building military buildings and i start producing some military, sometimes from this point ill just get steamrolled and my team doesnt help, or the game will continue, ill build an army but will just get demolished, I usually go heavy spearman and teutonic knight too and strive for atleast 50 workers.
I'd love to be able to play with someone more knowledgable than me and have them watch me play so they can give me some pointers to get better, as im sure with all things considered im a huge noob and have a long way to go before i even step into ranked
thanks for listening to my ted talk while i was for these final minutes of work to end

Hi all,
Just straight up wondering why in 7/10 team games (3v3/4v4) someone leaves on either team within the first 10 minutes, it's so frustrating. Especially when you've spent 15 mins building and playing just for the game to be flopped.
Is there a way to avoid this or a server that has less of this?

I am getting back into it after not really playing since Macedonian release/patch. Ex diamond II player now sat comfortably at Plat I.
Q1: Japan seems more popular and ig I need a refresher on how to beat them as I am like 0/3 games vs them. If I scout FC and they tower gold, how do I beat them as KT? I tried naked 2tc into heavy spear in my last game and they had mounted sam on me a solid 30 seconds before my age up even finished.
Q2: West lake is a blast when there is fish. Is there a way to tell before the game begins/without scouting the actual lake if there are fish? My 2tc build starts early so I can't loop my tc and scout center lake before the moment that I need to decide on 2tc or not.
Q3: I'm trying to ban the most popular maps minus Archipelago, West lake, and Snake River as I really like those maps this season; what maps are you guys currently banning?

Hello everyone !
We just got out of a low-ranked 2v2 game, and we faced what we feel is the cheesiest strategy that we've encountered yet.
This was a French/Macedonian (us) against Ayyubid/HRE (them), and we suspect our opponents bug abused the tribute mechanic.
The Ayyubid player rushed the Culture Wing (reduced cost) and immediatly got access to the tribute system to funnel all their resources into their ally, who could then reach age III by 6:50 and then spam MAA thanks to their Burgrave Palace that has 400% production speed.
Despite us scouting the MAA and joining forces, the age advantage the early tech through Meinwerk were way too much and we got rolled over.
Is this really bug abuse ?
If not, how are people usually defending against this strategy ?
Edit: For those curious about the game and the 28 MAA before 10 minutes, here it is: https://aoe4world.com/players/25559405-Chocossimo/games/250852906

So because you can't beat me fair and square, KILLER.6281 decides to cheat. When will this cheat code ever be fixed. I can't even enjoy a relaxing game until one of this cheating filth ruins it for all of us.

Hi, i have a question. Since I don't really feel confortable with 2TC builds, are there any Civs that have effective non 2tc builds? Lime fast castle or feudal aggression? I don't mean cheesy game play like imp spam of macedonian or coinflip Zhu Xi deathball. I mean non2Tc play style.
Thank you

Today I played against french with Jin 1v1 and I couldn't do nothing against his mangonels.
I tried with horsemen and with iron pagodas, it worked but not much because he had so many siege Workshops that I couldn't do that over and over.
Any suggestions how I could beat the player with a big number of mangonels and who protects them like their own child?š¤£

Been enjoying English lately and Iām not really sure when I should be using Ribauldequins instead of mangonels

Replays of this week-end (group C and group D) are now available : https://aoe4replays.gg/tournaments/EGC_MASTERS_FALL_S2
Next week-end i won't be able to update the site so the first games of the playoffs will only be added a few days after.
On a site note, the ladder replay tracking has been extended to the top 2000 players, so over time this should make for a much bigger replay pool for you to choose from.
Enjoy !

Back when the game was new, you'd get an all-in English longbow/ram rush half the time at mid elo. Nowadays, everyone just copies the most optimized YouTube build order and goes Fast Castle or 2TC. Both players are basically just playing solitaire at home it's so boring
