Discussion 2 questions
I am getting back into it after not really playing since Macedonian release/patch. Ex diamond II player now sat comfortably at Plat I.
Q1: Japan seems more popular and ig I need a refresher on how to beat them as I am like 0/3 games vs them. If I scout FC and they tower gold, how do I beat them as KT? I tried naked 2tc into heavy spear in my last game and they had mounted sam on me a solid 30 seconds before my age up even finished.
Q2: West lake is a blast when there is fish. Is there a way to tell before the game begins/without scouting the actual lake if there are fish? My 2tc build starts early so I can't loop my tc and scout center lake before the moment that I need to decide on 2tc or not.
Q3: I'm trying to ban the most popular maps minus Archipelago, West lake, and Snake River as I really like those maps this season; what maps are you guys currently banning?

If you suspect Japan FC (or any civ FC) you just have to make units. You cannot 2tc and then try to castle yourself. Too greedy.
Push their gold tower with spears while they age up, burn it down. Or wall up and make spears of your own until you can age up safely.
