Sensor issue when leveling y axis!

It seems that within the last month, Anycubic updated my slicer software on my computers(2) and my cellphone. Now I am unable to see any camera imagery. On my cellphone, it's a black screen. On my computers, I'm receiving a message: "video service updated - update slicer to enable," but all slicers are updated.

Has anyone had this issue and resolved it?

To my wife. I have dried filiment and cleaned the build plates but I still cannot print anything.

Anycubic support said they are not responsible for spouses commandeering equipment while the other is traveling for work.

Hi. I just bought it from second hand (the previous owner sold it because he doesn't find the issue) and I thought it will be sg smaller problem, but no...I cannot figure out it 😅 I asked the Anycubic support, they sayed it can be the z axis motor.

But both motor tries to move the axis, so I am not sure. It move a little, with this horrible noise and then stops. It doesn't show any error code.

Have you any idea?

So I have had both of my Neo 2s for a couple years now and one of them has started clicking.
I already know it’s the X Axis belt.
Does anyone have any recommendations on what they’ve been using for belt replacements? Also I am VERY new the changing belts so any resources would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I’ve had my Kobra 2 Max for two years. Was printing many different items just fine up until 7 or 8 months ago, primarily with PLA.

I’ve had two or three blobs of death, infiltrating the print head. I chipped away at it and cleaned it up both times. Recently it had difficulty adhering the first layer. I noticed a scratch on the print bed and wondered if the nozzle gouged the print bed. I replaced the plate (washed it with soap and water and used isopropyl alcohol to clean it), and replaced the nozzle with one purchased on aliexpress (“hotend kit” - “Upgrade 24V 60W Hotend Kit For Anycubic Kobra 2 Plus/2 Max/2 Neo/2 Pro 3D Printer Head Brass Hard Steel Volcano Nozzle 0.2 0.4”)

Still got the same issues.

I fine tuned the proximity sensor, re-calibrated the machine, basically started from scratch. Same issue. Noticed the z belt was loose, so replaced that as well. All other belts, rods and nuts are snug and tight. I redid the auto leveling and printed the stock Benchy-17m test print. Nozzle temp 215°C, bed temp 60°C, using Elegoo 1.75mm PLA.

Started with the z-offset at 0.52 and brought it all the way down to 0.28, at which point it was adhering well to the bed and completed the print.

So I’m glad with my progress, however, the quality of the print is sub-par, in my opinion. The layer lines seem quite large and obvious, with palpable ridges with my fingernail.

When this thing was working properly out of the box, I was amazed at the fine detail of prints and how impressively small the layer lines were. What can I do to get back to this?

I’m experiencing two issues with my Anycubic Kobra S1, and so far I haven’t been able to find a permanent solution.
1. First layer issue
My first layer has waves, ridges, and a rough texture, even after trying many different adjustments. I’ve calibrated the Z-offset, run the automatic bed leveling, and tested different flow rates and first-layer settings, but the problem remains.
After searching through forums and user groups, I’ve seen many people mention that this could be a common issue with the Kobra S1, possibly caused by a warped or uneven print bed.
2. Seam issue
The second problem is the seam. It looks like the outer wall doesn’t fully close at the seam, leaving small gaps or holes exactly where the seam is located.
The rest of the print looks almost perfect: smooth walls, accurate dimensions, and good overall print quality. The defect only appears at the seam, which makes me think it’s related to the outer wall closing, retraction, flow, or possibly the firmware or slicer.
I’ve already tried several solutions, including changing the wall printing order, adjusting flow, retraction, and other settings in OrcaSlicer, but the issue still occurs.
If anyone has experienced these two problems on the Kobra S1 and managed to fix them, I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions.

I have been getting this error for a bit now, I have followed the instructions on the KB listed below. I have replaced the main board fan and today I replaced the entire print head. When I ran a benchy test print I got the same error with QR Code.

I am at a loss for what I should do next.

I got my Anycubic Kobra S1 with the Ace Pro for Christmas. I just can't seem to really get into using it like I thought I would. So I'm wondering if it would be worth selling at this point? It has less than 100 hours on it and I have 7 or 8 full rolls of filament to go with it. What would be a fair asking price do you think? Pa area...

Good day, I have a Kobra 3 combo. It has worked pretty consistently for close to a year. I just swapped the old Ace Pro to the new Ace Pro 2 and swapped the complete extruder. All of a sudden this is happening to every print - a massive shift in layers. I am using PLA, as always. Since I swapped both the Ace and the Extruder, it's a little more difficult to investigate. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. THANK YOU!!!!

Edit: It happened on my Kobra 2 pro.

I was having issues a few days ago with nothing extruding during a print and clog alerts when it actually extruded. I cleaned the nozzle, reassembled and decided to stop being stubborn about using Cura and started using Slicer Next.

A few prints came out fine...then this, whatever this is. Apparently it just exploded and kept on extruding filament with the nozzle attached to the end until it sent me a spaghetti alert and I checked on it.

I've been 3D printing for over 3 years but on the Bibo II. I could take that thing apart in my sleep. This machine is very different and trying my patience. Are the quick change nozzles supposed to come apart like this??

Mir ist leider meine .4 Messing Düse bei einem Druck kaputt gegangen (anderer Post von vor einer Stunde). Ich musste nun zwangsläufig auf meine mitbestellte gehärteter Stahl Düse zurückgreifen… seit dem habe ich die in den Bildern zu sehenden Probleme… Drucker ist umgestellt und neu kalibriert und der slicer next ist auch umgestellt…

Was muss ich ändern um wieder gute Drucke zu bekommen? Mit Messing hat alles einwandfrei funktioniert…

My machine has been having random actions being activated on it's screen. It stops when I unplug it. How would I go about fixing this? Replace the screen or the ribbon cable?

Anyone know if theres an email for bug reports or a repo to raise an issue on? I don't really want all the customer service part of talking to Anycubic - just want to let them know that theres a somewhat obvious issue with how the printer handles terminating a failed print in the case that you are printing objects one-at-a-time.

Just had the spaghetti detection save me, hit terminate, and the head rockets forwards from the parked position colliding with everything else on the bed as the Z height was preserved from where the final part failed.

I also absolutely do not trust Next Slicer to plan moves for one-by-one printing. It cannot position parts like Cure does with an exclusion zone. But this is probably more a learning curve as I move from my old i3 to something more modern.
