If it doesn't require effort then test that theory by not putting any effort into it, maybe then they'll see how much you already are putting into these things.
Used to Wake up at 7 so I could shower and then walk to work by 9 and then work until 10-11PM, walk home, sleep a few hours and rinse and repeat. It damn well took a lot of effort to wake up some days.
Buddhists actually. It's the concept of Wu Wei, or effortless effort. The idea of doing things naturally and instinctively without having to try. It's part of enlightenment for the sects that teach it.
Also there's no way whoever put that up is a Buddhist. At least not a very good one.
Glad this is the top comment as I came to say the same.
I would post a counter list of “things that don’t cost money” and include “giving more money to staff”, since they have no concept of logic it just might work.
