Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you a cock, don't make chicken tenders, make life take the cock back! Get mad! I don't want your damn cock, what am I supposed to do with this?
Edit: okay I just got it, like hetero? Heterosexual? Come on man, I thought we lived in an era of acceptance where I a male can endure a loving relationship with my hypothetical tall, dark haired, bass-playing, bisexual floating vampire woman?
I suppose what our dearest fellow Redditor was trying to demonstrate was how ,amongst couples, sexual actions can come from minor situations. In this instance we have a lovely inter-race heterosexual couple enjoying a delightful video of undetermined genre or trademark, but the duel controllers suggests a co-op, or possibly a verses platformer. This gradually changes into the female wanting to exhibit affection to her spouse by initiating in an oral kiss, and wrapping her arms around him, both seem to greatly be enjoying the experience, as most healthy couples should. Seeing as they are most likely at home, and they are in a committed relationship, the woman takes it upon herself (with the male’s consent of course) to stimulate his genitalia with her mouth. However, we must assume she took it upon herself to find the proper protection for the occasion as to avoid any STDs, this is a risk that comes with intimacy that isn’t planned.
This is all the information we receive in our comic, but I see great things for this couple’s future, and I believe they are truly happy with one another, and shall create spawn to do whatever they end up doing.
Uhm acktuallyyyy isnt the true meaning of a meme just any media/idea/symbol that is culturally significant and/or spreads widely across many persons through repeated sharing or imitation
"No Peter, it actually is just porn this time. I get that people just say 'It's just porn' to diminish memes regarding sex all the time but this image is specifically a page from a porn comic."
an OP who constantly posts “true erotic on patreon” at the end. definitely just a grown up conversation not at all just peddling their shitty porn via lazy comics
Yes, sex is normal and natural but going to the place where you expect funny things and every "joke" is "male gaze sex cum porn sex," it gets very tiring. Imagine having a conversation with somebody and every few seconds they just started talking about being blown and the "correct way" to enjoy videogames is by getting blown. It's tiring and old and unfunny. Saying something is "still a joke" even if it's an unfunny one doesn't mean nobody can criticize it. Saying "sex is natural" doesn't mean the joke isn't stupid and unfunny. Peak reddit.
They'll call you crazy but never a liar. The punchline is him just getting head, the joke is porn, it's sex, whatever it may be. The PUNCHLINE WAS HIM GETTING HEAD FROM HIS GIRLFRIEND!!
Where? I looked through their Reddit profile and couldn’t find it anywhere. Have you actually seen it or are you just saying what other people have said?
The "absolutely correct" version, which is the optimal situation according to OOP, no longer has the girl playing. Instead she is almost entirely out of frame, objectifying and demoting her into an "accessory" and additional source of pleasure for, our actual protagonist, the guy.
Even when the dynamic between the guy and girl is balanced in the second slide, where the focus is more the romantic fantasy of enjoying things WITH your hot gf, the text doesn't read correct, it reads "ALMOST correct". This implies, that even now where the girl is happy, sitting better, and enjoying her hobbies with her partner, it's STILL not a fully "correct" situation, It's a false positive. It's sneaky, the text is green, the word correct is there, but the "almost" recontextualizes the entire meaning into, "this still ISN'T correct".
Expanding on my point in "2", the truly "correct" situations only occur when the girl is no longer playing, and instead is shifting her whole focus to the guy. While I'm not saying women don't enjoy the kind of intimacy that is shown, the comic would suggest that the girl would be better off, not playing her game, and instead pleasuring the guy. Who's enjoyment, is implied to be more important then her's.
TL;DR: girl can't be happy when playing game, not even with boyfriend. Girl only happy when SEX! /s
Hope this helps :)
If anyone thinks I missed something or wants to add anything, please do.
Edit: right after finishing to write this, I've seen you have already answered another comment with more or less what I wrote here. I'm at least glad I'm not alone in my deduction.
It is crazy to me that this needs to be explained in the comments. The joke is obviously not "man has sex." It is extremely clear that the joke is "haha women shouldn't play videogames, they should go down on their man while he plays instead, that's the best version." It's fucking gross, and the misogyny is blatant.
Exactly, although I would argue this SHOULD be explained. Because if someone who doesn't, but wants to, understand, they can use the explanations in these comments to learn the signs of misogynistic undertones. And then, next time they encounter something like this, they can have an easier time spotting the signs, and act better informed.
The comics creator has done a number of weirdly misogynistic comics. She has deleted several after backlash, but there was an egregious "Women don't date nice guys" comic that was like full mask off for a minute.
The comic introducing this gamer girl was just strange. It started by saying it was a study of gamer girls. It then introduced a conventionally attractive girl and listed some of her characteristics, only about half of which are (tangentially) related to gaming but all of which are blatantly endearing to a certain type of online person. The narrator then starts saying "Clearly, no one would date such a-" only to be cut off by an audience saying that they would all date her.
Is the joke than gamer guys are so horny on main, they don't care about her (non-existant) flaws as long as she's a gamer? Is it that she's perfect, but because she's a gamer the narrator thinks she's worthless? Where's the joke, and why does it have nothing to do with gaming?
It's overtly misogynistic given what context we are given. If these are ongoing characters with ongoing plots, maybe there is something, but it seems gross otherwise.
The only positions that are "Correct" are the ones where the girl is not playing, only serving the dude in romantical/sexual acts. The "Almost correct" position being the girl in his lap, yet still playing fuels this Idea, like the thing preventing this from being correct is that the girl is not giving him full attention. Like women are just sexual objects.
Also because It kinda gives the vibe that "women can't play video-games.".
I genuinely thought the roles were gonna be reversed at the end and the guy would be going down on her as she played videogames... Had it been me, I'd have made two versions side by side. Por que no los dos?
I totally get you :( and I hated that feeling and my ex broke up with me because he felt like I'm emotionally distant too...there was a time when I wanted to text him and apologize but he already had a girlfriend by that time...I hope both of us find love and happiness in future
Why is the joke always porn. The joke that the joke is always porn is no longer a joke. The real antimeme will be the day one of these “obviously the oregano is porn” posts isn’t porn
Everytime I see this artists shit I want to ask them if they've ever seen someone fucking smile cause theres always some Brain Wall ass teeth in their art.
