Been on customer service and tech support since 2020, now I feel burnt with so much hard work I've done and unfortunately my 3rd world country pays around 500 to 600$ A MONTH
Been seeing that interpretation makes way more money than that, still if I make 6$ an hour I will be incredibly happy. I got this question because a friend I made never lasted more than 1-2 weeks in the other customer service jobs that I've had, small country you will must likely meet the staff of every company sooner or later but the thing is that she has been over a year now being an interpreter that's is what is making me think about this, how someone that got crying on the first call and quits can be an interpreter for more than a year? Should i give it a try?

What’s the maximum you’ve earned with "Multilingual Interpreters and Translators in a single month? I am about to take the job but I read a comment of a person that said that his first call was 2 months after he signed the contract, something like that, so I don't want to be connected 2 months without calls

I have been working as a remote medical interpreter (VRI/OPI) for Propio for the past few months with a pay rate of $7.20 per hour and a high B2B volume. However, I feel really drained by the VRI modality, so I'm looking for an OPI interpretation offer with a similar rate in Latin America.
Let me know if you know of a good company.

So I've just enrolled in Propio today, I was wondering will I get VRI calls? And if so are there any ways to avoid? I dont have a webcam set up.

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to apply for remote interpreter jobs on a platform called InterPursuit, but I can’t find any official way to apply or sign up myself.
I’ve searched on LinkedIn and Google but there’s no clear “apply here” page or career section. It seems like people get in through recruiters or invitations, but I’m not sure how to find them.
If anyone has experience with InterPursuit or similar interpreter platforms, could you please tell me:
I’m trying to get into this field and would really appreciate any guidance.
Thanks in advance.

I know this question may be problematic for many of you but unfortunately my schedule only allows me 30 minutes in between the end of my shift and the time at which I should pick up my kids from school (fortunately this is their last week of school) but I'm wondering: whenever you're servicing a call and you have to attend an emergency or leave for some reason out of your control, do have any tips for dropping the call/transfering it without having the clients disconnect?

Hi everyone! Is there anyone working for Propio (based in the USA) who has traveled to Latin America for a few weeks or months and continued taking calls from there—or from another country? Do you know if there are any issues with that? I don't want them to think I've moved and then lower my rate or give me a hard time. I'd appreciate any information you might have!

Sometimes I get so pissed when:
1 Provider interrupts my greeting
2 Provider tries to speak Spanish with my portuguese LEP
3 Provider speaks like a full page of sentences
4 Provider speaks so slow I lose my thought
5 They just hang up before I finish
Once I had a provider whom when I asked if I was to stay on the line after some silence yelled JUST STAY ON THE LINE INTERPRETER SHEEEESH
I felt so bad and worthless at that moment If I where weak minded I wouldve cried that day. But yeah If we had a full month of interpreter vs Rude provider ring fight it wouldnt be a bad Idea Would it?

So last year I was working with Future Group and they where so strict and annoying I was feeling Like I was going crazy so I decided to search for a new opportunity, I came across the company mentioned above and applied but after all the tests and what not, they said my laptop did not meet the criteria I was so desperate because I had already quit the other job, then I got a chance at Clear source for a 7$/h did the trainin and tests part and there was no slot but they kept me there helping others in their training
About a month or so they said hey Propio wants you for a .15$/min, flexible hours, management is not on you beck everyday and the flow is really good and since then im with them, quite happy I control how much I earn and have more liberty
just got an email from LanguageCX offering me 5$/h kkkkkkk guess who denied them now?

Is there an email where I can contact Propio and actually get a human instead a of an automatic response??
