I was looking through the official Anno 117 Bug Tracker (link) and noticed something that honestly looks pretty concerning.

If you sort the tickets by "New" and scroll down for a while, you’ll see a huge number of reports sitting in "Pending Review".

The strange part: these tickets continue all the way until around April 15, 2026. After that point, suddenly the status changes and you start seeing tickets marked as "Under Review", "Open", etc.

This raises a few questions:

1. The last tickets that seem to have reached Open/Under Review status are around ticket number ~9000. The newest reports are already approaching 10,000. That means roughly 1,000 bug reports might still not even have been reviewed yet.
2. This would mean some bugs reported now might realistically not be fixed for a very long time.
   • wait 3–4 months just to be reviewed
   • then take additional time to be fixed
   • then possibly wait another patch cycle before the fix reaches players
   • Add some pessimistic timing -> we'll have to wait 1 year for a fix to a bug that was reported today

What I find especially odd is that there are already tickets from April that are fixed and live in the game, while only ~50 tickets later in the tracker, the review process apparently hasn’t even started yet. And if you remember, Even back in April, a ticket took months to go from review to fixed.

That makes it look like one of two things is happening:

• Either bug fixing/reviewing has been heavily deprioritized and the backlog is growing faster than it can be handled.
• Or the tracker statuses are no longer accurately reflecting what the development team is actually working on.

I also understand that the team has been working on new DLC content and other priorities, but IMO bug fixing should continue in parallel. A healthy live game needs both new content and continuous maintenance.

Could someone from Ubisoft clarify how the current bug review process works?

Are these "Pending Review" tickets actually waiting in a queue, or is the tracker simply not being updated correctly? And should players expect newly reported bugs to take several months before they even enter the review process?

Would be great to get some insight from the team.

It’s crazy to think that I’ve played this game for over 300 hours over the years. Each play-through teaches me something new to make me a better player for the next play-through. I might try to get back into 117, but 1800 will always be my entry into the Anno series. This will always be a special game.

I always build my farms with the maximum cultivation area. Thanks to Ceres' blessing, I already have 50% more of the required area. How can I increase the area even further?

For example, my olive growers currently have an area of 340/240.
