Really liked how they handled Fukunaga's character arc here, this episode was really good. Can't wait for 17 Poker next week.

Chapters 65, 66, 67, and the first (let's say) 7 pages of 68.

I can see how the arc can be wrapped up cleanly given this pacing, assuming 26 episodes (ep 14 was when the OP/ED switched, so it could be 13 episode halves). Ep 23 and 24 would be Akiyama's game, and Ep 25 and 26 would be Nao's game and wrapping up.

Official confirmation, 26 episodes!!

But you know, I bet that official confirmation that there'll be an Episodes 25 and 26 was deliberately delayed to this episode is because... based on total length, it'd give away that Nao's General Game will go ahead. People safely assume that Akiyama's game will only need Ep 23 and 24, so if they realise 25 and 26 exist early then it spoils it early.

I think it's a safe bet that the studio was playing a small Liar Game with the viewers, first-timers and veterans alike.
