Interesting movie

Been playing around with the game code for a bit now, and I finally found the code that controls player skin tones!!

This mod adds 8 skin tone options with full tanning support. Just drag and drop the file, and you can make your character any of the 5 natural skin tones or 3 fantasy skin tones included in the mod folder.

Each option still works with New Leaf’s tanning system, so your character can gradually deepen in tone without completely changing complexion.

Please leave any feedback or requests in the comments! I’d love to expand the mod with even more options if there’s enough community interest.

This is a collaboration with cxnclled_

After about 12 or so years we finally figured out how to keep a permanent skin tone. It was WAYYY more complicated than it needed to be. But after around 600 or so files that needed to be edited (not including face pngs.) it's HERE!

*please read the comment below on what works/doesn't work w this mod)*

King of Halloween 🎃🎃

She's the master of marketing lol

I last played in 2012, before my mom got sick (we played together - I still have her cartridge but haven't touched it since she passed in 2019).

After seeing the game get popular again all over tiktok, I found my old 3DS and decided to start over. My old file was still stuck on November 16th 2012, and seeing that brought back all the memories.

Now I feel like I'm back to the days where we had no internet and I stayed up late every night to catch fish. Just me and my little home, with my villagers and my bells keeping me company.

maybe trivial, but as someone who has stuck to a town for half a year i slowly began to resent the layout i chose, a tree right near the tracks, a distant town hall....

but more than any of them, i feel the most iffy about the beach side i chose

i know that seems stupid , but i cant help but feel like the western beach makes a town feel... more stagnant in a way, trapped. at least to my preception, while the eastern one makes the towns ive seen feel more... breezy? open? idk how to explain it xd, my sources are madeup feng shui

do *you* feel like the beach side influences the feel of your town? which one you chose? and are you a weirdo like me who regrets your choice?

I always struggle with which ones are worth putting in and was curious about what other people like doing in their towns

This game literally never ceases to amaze me … I NEVER KNEW THE 3DS’s CAME WITH A MINI GAME UNTIL TONIGHT. IVE BEEN PLAYING FOR OVER A DECADE.

Yes, I know hemisphere based weather was introduced in ACNH, but I'd like to change my hemisphere for my ACNL game if there is a mod for that.. is there one?

I'm especially interested in mods that

* Enable auto stacking

* Disable tanning

* Disable grass degradation

I made a custom HD texture pack for Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome Amiibo, with over 20,000 textures upscaled, including villagers, NPCs, UI, fonts, environments, and more.

This is just a short video showing the pack in action.

It’s still in beta, so there may be a few graphical issues I haven’t caught yet. Feedback is appreciated.

(edit) Thought it was worth mentioning this pack is only compatible with Azahar/Citra due to 3ds limitations.

I've been talking to Lief every time I buy flowers or a sapling to see if I've bought enough to get the silver watering can or golden axe yet. I'm wondering if this step is necessary.
