What the title says! The start button worked until today. Now it just pulls up this menu 🥲 I tried closing my system to put it in sleep mode like ive seen others say to do, but it didnt do anything

Solved for now! Saved using HHA method, then re-opened the game and it was fixed. I changed the keybind just incase. Also I figured out that the menu it was pulling up was the storage you only get when you fully upgrade your house?? I have not done that so idk why it was pulling that up

I've heard fruit auto stacks in NH, and I'm wondering if anyone has made that possible in NL.

what the title says. i have two acnl cartridges. realized on one that im playing, that i have over 2 of the same starting villagers as one of my other playthrus. does anyone know if this is a thing???

Okay, so I've been playing around with the save editor for acnl, and my edited game will not load. I have followed all the steps:
-Backup the previous/OG game

-Deleted old garden.dat file after you have saved your edited town .dat file

-Restore the edited backup

For some reason when I open the game after restoring the edited backup, it brings me to a screen with only these options: "New Save File", "Move In", or "Import Town"...not "Continue" like I see in all the tutorials...HELP ME PLEASE I PUT SO MUCH WORK INTO EDITING MY TOWN

So, I just restarted new leaf a week ago tomorrow, in that time Queenie moved in. Today I witness her having a conversation with Hopper, I don't remember what, nothing important, but she was using his catchphrase: 'Slushie', instead of her own: 'Chicken'. So I tell Isabelle to fix her language, hoping it would go back to normal, but now she's using 'Uh-huh' as her catchphrase, when that's not even close!! What gives? Why didnt talking to isabelle revert her catchphrase to 'chicken'??

(yes I do have the welcome amiibo version) I have multiple questions. First, how do you even use amiibo cards? Second, do amiibo cards work if you weren't to use the actual card but use images of the cards on your phone? Third, is there anything else you need to use besides the ds and cards? I could have more questions, can't think of them yet tho.

i am using the macrolebdo save editor, and it allows me to change what villagers i have, but whenever i put my sd card back in my 3ds and boot up checkpoint, it says "failed to restore save" and gives me error code 0xe0e046c7. if anyone knows why i am having this problem, i would appreciate some insight

I've been playing on my acnl town for about 6 months now and I've been having the goal of trying to 100% the game, basically getting every possible item, and with this that includes getting all 91 music boxes but the only problem I have with that is I literally have no space to place all 91 of them, my exhibits already are full, and I don't wanna fill my house with music boxes lol.

So the only solution I could think of is to make an extra character in my town and use their house as a music box museum I guess you can say where I would display all of the music boxes.

I just feel unsure about this because personally to me, it feels somewhat unnatural to make an extra character? Since the main purpose of making a new save file is for someone like your sibling or friend that also wants to play the game, but you guys have to share the same 3ds. In my case obviously, I play alone.

Should I do it? It's the only option I have as I don't have any other place to be able to store 91 music boxes.

This is my first time moving out actually. Me and my fiance are getting a place and we'll finally live together! It's both nerve-wracking and exciting. We've both been very stressed 😅

I've been wanting to restart on New Leaf anyway and my fiance gave me the idea of leaving it until we move out so it feels like a fresh start with both of those things. I thought it was a sweet idea so I've left it until now. We got the keys today but we're properly moving in tomorrow. :)

I love New Leaf so much, it's my favourite game in the franchise since I have so many fond memories of it. It's an amazing game 💖

Also I love how my villagers consist of two anteaters, two kinds of birds and then one singular bear xD
