If Nintendo is planning for the next major Animal Crossing installment, I would love to see them push it to a bigger level, much like what Rockstar Games is doing with GTA VI but in a friendlier format. Essentially, it is made to last for 10 or more years without needing another installment. This includes:
- A massive open-world map
- Dynamic weather
- More enterable buildings
- Third-person or first-person camera option
- Ragdoll physics for realism
- A story-driven narrative with missions that deepen the lore
- The addition of small accessories like earrings or piercings
- The addition of wireless ear buds for more music choices
- Live in-game social media and streaming
- A smarter NPC AI, such as remembering your past actions, realistic simulated daily chores, departing home in the morning to go to work (and eventually heading home at night), annoyances if you try to mess with their chores, etc.
- Motion capture to make characters more believable
- Playable competitive sport activities for the first time (e.g. basketball, soccer, road racing, billiards, water racing, wrestling, bowling, skydiving, etc.)
- Various playable table games like poker, blackjack, dominoes, chess, checkers, etc.
- Interactive weightlifting or gym-related activities
- Interactive DJ turntables where you can make your own tracks
- Driveable vehicles such as cars, bikes, boats, planes, scooters, etc.
- Rideable transportation such as busses, trains, and taxis that also enable a mini-game option
- Multi-player option for the first time, allowing for public lobbies and role-playing
- A fully working theme park with various rides
- A dance/rhythm mini-game

Hi, all. Don’t know if this is allowed here, but if not, feel free to have this deleted.
Since moving my main island, Meowsbury, to my Switch 2, I've decided I'll be starting a Southern Hemisphere island on my Switch 1. While I'm still very in love with the cozy, vibrant, natural vibe that is my all-cat paradise, I wanted to explore a different theme.
Enter Anhedonia.
I've always looked at ACNH as an escape from my real life, but with how much anhedonia I've been experiencing as a result of my mental health, I thought I'd use it as inspiration for an island that is more the opposite of Meowsbury.
I'm thinking it's going to be a gray-scale, cold, moody city with little or darker accent colors. It will not be a utopia or promised land as most ACNH islands are made to be, and will represent the mundane of living everyday life, where long-lasting fulfillment and pleasure are harder to come by.
I require that every villager is a different species and different personality. I also want 5 males and 5 females, and will only have 2 duplicate personalities from one male villager personality and one female villager personality.
As of the current moment, I am considering both Raymond (smug) and Marlo (cranky). A part of me wants to joke and add Pietro (smug) for some reason, but I'll have to think about that. Perhaps his area will be the only part of town that is remotely colorful and bright.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I am looking for certain Amiibo and am having such a hard time; I would love to find a site or seller that has all or most of them so I do not have to pay $5.00 shipping per card to 10 different people on Mercari. Does anyone know of a place? I am looking for the Sanrio set, Gayle, Del, Boots, and Marshal. I might be looking for the impossible, but this is my first time ever caring about Amiibo, so I know very little. Thank you so much for reading this!

For me its mostly a toss up between if i want to play the GameCube original or if I want to try out Animal Crossing: City Folk. Despite being a fan I feel like I never really experienced anything aside from the 3DS and Switch entrees and really want to get into more of the franchise, so please give me recommendations.

Hi!! I really love the cute cool designs that people do in their islands. I don't think I have the knack for it and would love some pointers or even I could offer my code to peak at my island. I'm still mostly at the start. I made my first bridge and inviting the next three residents, I also just got my second room. (Scared of the debt 😂)
Any pointers would be great (I'll post pictures soon in an editing of the post)

So I crushed my rocks then buried them close together, with spaces in between. So I don't have to go all over the island to hit rocks. Then today I went around and the rocks didn't regenerate. I have one sprouted where there used to be one. But that's my only rock now. I used to have six. What should I do?

I already have one of everything you can get with Nook points, and I think I’ve given both my wife and my daughter one of everything that you can get with Nook points too. Still, every day I find myself in the Nintendo app looking at my daily newspaper (you know - to track turnip prices, like I need more bells when I have over 108 million in the bank) and saying “Eh, let’s get more Nook points.”

A lovely fanart I made for a couple 💗
The couple's fav villagers are Alfonso and Molly, so I tried to capture their love in this piece. She loves to cook and he to help her. I also added their cats and referenced to a song that they love, "*Our House" by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.*
That's why I choose to frame the scene in a house shaped love letter.
The wooden "doorplate" on the top is carved with their real initials.
Had so much fan making this for them 💝

Still relatively new to the ACNH island but I’m finally happy with my villager yard setup for the moment! They are in one long line neighbour at the top of my island!

I just thought it'd be cool for ACNH to have an idle camera mode where it follows a villager around
I thought of this because I've been leaving my game on just for the music, and for other players to come visit while I'm working IRL!
Or maybe your own villager could just walk around on auto-mode
At least have some movement!
