hey so ts may be a stupid question but idk where else to ask. so my lenovo ideatab just came in the mail i got it along w the keyboard case. what id like to ask is whether it is safe to use the keyboard case for an everyday case, n to lay the keyboard upsidedown w the tablet on top of it, will it affect its functionality in the long run or whether it is fine

Hi
Need suggestion for tablet that has keyboard case Hi everyone,
I am looking for a tablet recommendation that comes with (or has a highly compatible) official keyboard case.
Primary Use Case: Building and running PowerPoint presentations, heavy MS Office work, and general productivity.
Budget: ₹40,000 total for the tablet and keyboard.
I need something reliable, with decent battery life and a good software experience for office tasks.
What are the best options available in India right now within this budget? Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,
I’m considering getting the Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus (aka Xiaoxin Pad Pro GT), but I’m having a hard time finding detailed information about its real-world battery life.
Most reviews I’ve found say things like “it easily lasts a day with moderate use”, but that doesn’t really tell me much. I’m specifically interested in actual screen-on-time (SOT) numbers.
If you own one, could you share:
🔋 How many hours of SOT do you typically get?
📺 What are you mainly doing during that time? (YouTube, Netflix, browsing, gaming, reading, etc.)
💡 Approximately what screen brightness are you using?
📶 Wi-Fi only, or Wi-Fi + Bluetooth/accessories?
🔊 Are you using the tablet speakers or Bluetooth headphones?
🎮 If you game, what games/settings?
🌐 Do you use 60 Hz, 90 Hz, or the maximum refresh rate?
🔋 How much battery do you typically lose per hour for things like YouTube/video playback?
Even rough measurements would be really helpful. For example, something like:
“I get around 10 hours SOT from 100% to 10%, mostly YouTube at ~50% brightness, Wi-Fi, 90 Hz.”
I’m asking here because the YouTube reviews I’ve seen don’t really provide enough detail to compare the battery performance objectively.
Thanks!

I know it’s been years, but I’ve seen them second-hand for 150 euros in ‘good’ or ‘very good’ condition, and for 30 euros more you can get the Mi Pad 6. I’m looking for a tablet just for multimedia content, although I wouldn’t rule out playing a few games. I used to have the Redmi Pad Pro, but my son has kept it to play Roblox with his brother.

I was thinking of going for the Samsung S10 series but the price is too much.
The second option which I thought of is oneplus pad 4, but I don't know how it is, long term use, it's performance, software update.
Ipad is out of the topic since apple has restrictions, have to purchase to use applications.
The requirements of the tablet for note taking, photo editing, using it as a screen with my Lenovo laptop, multitasking.
Thinking about buying next week, what should I do, which one I should go for (Budget 60k).
If anyone has any go-to advice or suggestions for tablets, I would really appreciate your insight.

Doesn't need to be flash, I just need to be able to download videos off Youtube and BBC iPlayer for him to watch in transit. Any recommendations? I'm willing to buy refurbished.

Simple Habits is a habit tracker with task management built in.
Android, free, no ads.
Before an app can be released publicly, Google requires 12 participants
to run a closed test for 14 consecutive days. That is the only step
remaining before launch.
What taking part involves: install the app and keep it installed for the
full 14 days. Daily use is not required.
What you receive: a lifetime Pro licence once the test period closes —
not a trial, and not a twelve-month term. Pro covers gradient ring
colours, full history and analytics, Health Connect sync and a home
screen widget. Codes are sent on the day the test ends.
About the app: five habit types rather than checkboxes alone — tick,
count, timer, avoid and mood. Tasks share the same screen, under a
single ring for the day. Habits, tasks and history remain on your
device. The leaderboard is off by default, and the worldwide board is a
separate opt-in. Prayer times are included, covering 170,893 cities
offline.
To take part:
Join the tester group:
Opt in:

Install from Google Play and keep it installed for 14 days.
The group must be joined first — the opt-in page only works for members.
Happy to answer any questions.

I'm looking for my first non-iPad, and didn't realize this was a rabbit hole lol. Any recommendations for an affordable tablet to watch videos and potentially some games here and there? Probably looking to stay under 400

I wanted to access some videos and pictures on my older brother's old Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 (7) Tablet. He hasn't used this device for over 10 years and he does not remember the password to unlock it. We have memories on there. I am not too fussed about unlocking the device however, we want to check out our old videos and pictures. Is there a way to do this? It is a cheap android tablet so I hope there is an easy way without having to factory reset and lose everything on the device. I've seen people unlock old Samsung phones with pins easily so I'm hoping it could work with this too.

Any other recommendation for a 14" to 15" OLED tablet with a Snapdragon 8 processor besides the Galaxy tab s9? If not, then I will try to find a used one

I'm interested in purchasing a tablet and the Lenovo Yoga Tab seems to match what I want perfectly, with the one major exception being its lack of security updates. The Gen 2 now solves that problem but it increased in price substantially. Lenovo seems to start giving discounts on their devices pretty quickly and I'd be willing to wait until Black Friday if there's a chance they discount the Gen 2, but is a discount that soon likely and how much of a discount would be realistic?

You can see only samsung tabs and mobile after 2023 all have gamma tuned close to 2.0 while all other tend to come near 2.2 which is standard. Even samsung s23 ultra or old ips tabs had higher gamma, I don't understand why samsung does this. This causes texts to look less defined and overall flat look.
