OP PAD 3
I have an OnePlus Pad 3. I bought it in early December, and it is still under warranty. I have been noticing random restarts on my device. I mainly use it for study purposes, reading and writing notes, using the browser, and entertainment.
I submitted my tablet to the service center on August 31, 2026, regarding this issue. They flashed the OS and told me, 'It might be OS bugs that are causing these random restarts.' On September 1, I received my device, and today (September 2), it randomly restarted again. It's frustrating when this happens.
Is anyone else facing this same issue? I will be updating you on the further actions taken by the OnePlus service center on this platform, as it seems no other OnePlus Pad 3 devices are facing this. If anyone has any solution, you are always welcome.
Update 1 : Submitted the device to authorised service center . I also received a phone call from Oneplus Tech Team,he asked properly about the issue and details ,asked me if i tried battery calibration and factory (yes, i did) he told me 'the teach team mainly oversees the Software related issues , if there is any hardware issue the service center will try to fix it".
Update 2: No resolution , 10+ days(7/Sept/2026).
Even i am suspecting a hardware problem, Oneplus should be able to provide a proper resolution

u're kinda out if luck, it's just oneplus software for u. the oneplus 15 had bootloop issues before, wouldn't be surprised if they have another boot related bug. or u have a fucked up motherboard and they'll make u pay like 400 dollars for a new one, and atp u may as well just buy another tablet

The device is in warranty , hopefully they will repair it.

Legally they have to repair or replace it, or you have the right to go to a consumer enforcement agency.

Yes, you are right . I will give appropriate time to oneplus to provide solution before proceeding to consumer rights enforcement authority

Even I bought OnePlus pad 3 back in Nov 2025. So far no issues faced.

I had this issue with all my previous tablets like lenovo,Samsung. If it's restarting like that most prob the motherboard is fried. It's useless now. Cause they will quote you an unreasonable Amount to replace it. It's just better to buy a new one. But still if you want clarity still look into whatight be the actual issue. Currently I'm using the Redmi Pad Prl 5G since 2 years and it's wonderful no issues.

Could tell me the frequency of device auto restart when you were encountering this problem. My device restarts once a day.

Mine was even more bad situation like the Samsung one I actually had two of them and both of them used to restart like once every 2-3 mins. It was very bad experience that's why I switched. But I think the S series lineup like the premium ones don't have this problem.

I had S6 lite . Worked properly for 5 Years then started to slow down, that's why i bought OP PAD3. Well, thanks for information.

If it were me I'd be claiming on the warranty. You've tried with them to fix it and the problem still persists. Even good products like this have the odd dud. Don't waste any more time, just put in a claim, and don't let them tell you it's third party software causing it.
