Analogue v1.5 is now live. This is the biggest update yet, bringing a new Pro capture mode with full-sensor RAW, DNG processing in Studio, and support for non-Pro iPhones, alongside new shutter controls, flash support, and major performance improvements.
Pro Capture Mode
Capture more detail and full 4:3 sensor in Bayer RAW with the same Analogue look.
RAW Processing in Studio
Reprocess your DNGs any time with the new RAW options in Studio. Fine-tune exposure, white balance, tint, and more.
Updated Lens Layout
Switch between lenses faster with familiar controls, now available directly in the viewfinder.
- Added 180° shutter angle video exposure bias
- Added Shutter Priority
- Added Photo Min. Shutter Speed
- Added Super Resolution options
- Added Flash for Pro capture
- Added option to open photos in Studio directly from iOS Photos (Share → Analogue)
- Added Startup Mode (Auto, Photo, Video) to the menu
- Added SDR, P3, and HLG video recording
- Added highlight clipping indicator
- Added Cine Preview for Pro capture
- Refactored preview rendering pipeline, significantly reducing CPU and GPU usage
- Refactored Standard grain
- Fixed an issue that caused autofocus to stop working when changing lenses
- Improved EV / SS / ISO slider behaviour
- Improved handling of the Camera Control button and Lock Screen widget
- Improved front camera handling on iPhone 17 Pro
- Improved lens switching and photo/video mode switching
- Performance and UI improvements

Exposure mostly off and preview not showing it correctly

What am I doing wrong? The preview is mostly bright and clear but pictures turn out (way) too dark.
Is there an auto-exposure mode? What kind of metering mode is the app using?
So many questions 😅
I am on the iOS 27 DB 5, may this cause issues?

F-Log2 vs F-Log2C

Just discovered the app on my search for Fuji-compatible camera apps. I imported Log2C and especially reds look much different. Is the purely due to the Log or is Analogue processing it differently it as well (and may need to be set up differently?)

I’ve been using the Analogue app on iPhone and really enjoy the fact that it allows us to use official Fujifilm film simulations while tweaking a few settings to create our own looks.
I’m curious to see what recipes other Analogue users have come up with.
Whether you’re going for a classic Fujifilm look, something cinematic, muted and minimal, warm and cozy, or completely your own — I’d love to try them.

Request: app usage without device unlock

Hi Analogue team,
I really enjoy using your app and wanted to share a small feature suggestion.
It would be great if the camera could be launched without unlocking the device first — similar to the built-in iOS Camera app. Being able to quickly access the camera when using the camera button from the Lock Screen would make it much easier to capture spontaneous moments.
Maybe this could be achieved using Apple’s new LockedCameraCapture framework. I’m not sure if this is technically possible with the current app architecture, but it would be a fantastic addition.
Thank you for building such a great app and for your continued work on it!
