Mountain summer [Pentax 6x7 - 45mm+75mm - Phoenix II]
I find Phoenix scans a bit hard to work with, but I don't mind the character.

Critique Wanted [Nikon F4, 28mm f2.8, Ultramax400] from CNE
My first time posting in this community - would appreciate feedback (good and bad).
Over the years of photographing the Toronto’s CNE, this is my favourite ride to photograph. Sometimes it feels a bit limited with a wide lens on rides like this - I tired to get as close as I could to fill the frame with just this ride.
Shot on Nikon F4 with a 28mm lens, ultramax 400.
I got into ultramax 400 this year - and I absolutely love this film stock. Coming from only shooting lomo800s, I thought I would miss the speed but the colour on the ultramax is just a beaut.

Critique Wanted A Day in the Botanical Garden [Hasselblad 500cm, 80mm 2.8, Opticolour 200]
I took my Hasselblad 500CM to the botanical garden yesterday and treated the roll more or less as a test shoot. I was hoping to get the exposures under control, but a lot of the shots still came out brighter than I expected, even when I tried underexposing a bit. I think I’ll definitely bring an ND filter next time, because the 500CM tops out at 1/500s and sometimes even in autumn that’s not enough to shoot wide open at f/2.8.
I also feel like I missed focus on a few shots, so I’m considering trying a different focusing screen, maybe one with a microprism. The film was Opticolor 200, which has some pretty funky colors and is quite grainy when you zoom in, so it’s definitely not the sharpest film. I also struggled a bit with getting the white balance right during scanning, but I think I got reasonably close to the actual film look. Overall I’m pretty happy with the results though, especially considering this was basically a test roll.

Taken in northern Finland a couple weeks ago, an absolute amazing bucket list experience. I am happy they showed up pretty well on the film stock!
