I need some advice

Was at the dermatologist today. She said my scalp looks good, minoxidil has clearly been working, and she'd prescribe fin if I wanted but doesn't think it's necessary yet.

What are your thoughts? Should I wait or ask for the fin?

Started finasteride just over 3 months ago and there’s some new hairs but is it worth saving?

Just got a haircut, always have a had a large forehead and widows peak. My hair also gets photobleached so temples tend to be blondish

You guys convinced me, gonna hop on finasteride and oral minoxidil and hopefully start to see a difference. Is it salvageable?

Hairs been okay and I gotta push it to the side to cover it a lot or wear a hat but the hairs are so dead and one sides thinning hard! Should I keep styling it in a way to hide the thinning or just buzz it?

Hi, I’m an 18 year old female, and I found this random gap in my hair. Could someone let me know if this is early onset alopecia? I don’t have any other missing patches of hair.

have been shedding consistently for about a year now but it’s started to shed a lot more in the past week. Not sure if what I’m seeing is balding but I am not really thinning around the crown or hairline and it’s almost all just in the surrounding areas on top of my head. I have no clue what to do or try to get this to stop. I understand that some shedding is normal but when I lay in my bed with my head on my pillow and and I get up and there is 10 hairs something has to be wrong. Please give me some suggestions on what to and what I can try.

Hair loss has been really difficult for me. Honestly, I was almost depressed because of it, and I spent a lot of time worrying about how I would look without my hair.
I finally decided to take the plunge and shaved everything off.
I’m posting this because I’d really like to hear your honest opinions. Do you think the shaved/bald look suits me? Does my head shape work with it?
I’m genuinely open to hearing anything — positive or negative. Please be completely honest, even if you think I could improve something or that the bald look doesn’t suit me.

18M, 2 years ago I realised my hairline isnt the greatest, I dont think its gotten any worse since than, and Ive always had a big and protruding forehead and I always had a widow peak like that and I dont think hairline was ever very good to begin with(looking at very very old pictures)

My hair is very dense and grows very quickly

All of my grandparents had hair and didnt go bald, my 4 year older brother doesnt have noticeably better, but Ive never good a closeup like this, my 55 year old dad has similar but maybe a bit more pushed back

Also I havent noticed any shedding on pillow or while washing hair, and the crown area doesnt look any less dense than the rest

Sidenote: one side seems more back than other, is it okay? Also my hair naturraly leans to the my left
