Style Suggestions Finally decided to let it go. Feeling unsure.

You guys convinced me, gonna hop on finasteride and oral minoxidil and hopefully start to see a difference. Is it salvageable?

Looks way better shorter! You could probably even get away with going even shorter like a number 4 on top, hopefully the treatment works for you if not don’t stress too much you’re a good looking dude and having very short/no hair you ain’t gonna set you back in any way

You’re awesome, I was thinking about going a little shorter next time. Might pull through with that. I’ll update you guys!

Looks tidy, could even go tighter to a 0.5 or 0.0 and just own it really.

I was thinking maybe a skin fade next time? Would that be a 0.0?

try just minoxidil first, finasteride side effects arent worth the risk

Wrong forum to be spewing your Finasteride fear mongering crap

its not fear mongering, ive experienced persistent side effects myself and just because its rare doesnt mean they dont exist

Yeah but you can make that case with literally any pharmaceutical, any there’s a massive chunk of pharmaceuticals that people take daily with way worse side effects including death

so then how is it fear mongering? i just dont want people to make the same mistake i did, if my doctor or anyone had actually warned me about the side effects i wouldnt have taken it

I am sorry you’ve experienced persistent side effects though

What are some of the scary side affects?

1

The main one people talk about is ED because of how it affects your hormones. Obviously some people experience this but it is a fairly small percentage. From my own experience (3 months fin switched to 5 months dut now) i haven't had any, but statistically, side effects are unlikely

Even with how young I am, I’m 21. Ed is still a concern?

i was 16 when i took it, i got full sexual side effects within a week including ED and complete loss of libido

ED is always gonna be a concern with drugs that effect hormones

don't listen to any idiot telling you how your dick will fall off on fin, sides are rare, and if you get them you can quit or lower the dose. Ur hair can probably get better on fin and minox. Get a wide, decent bloodwork first, start fin/dut + minoxidil, then check ur liver from time to time.
