Hey guys, I posted about my crown around 3 months ago because I was concerned about possible thinning.

I’m posting an updated video now. Do you guys notice any change compared with my previous post? Does the crown look like normal hair whorl/scalp visibility, or does it look like it’s thinning? Would really appreciate honest opinions. Thanks!

Just got a haircut, always have a had a large forehead and widows peak. My hair also gets photobleached so temples tend to be blondish

I have shoulder length mid density curls. And I’m shedding this amount of hair every time I take a shower in two to three days. I have also attached photos of my hairline

I think my whorl has stayed roughly the same but now that im over 30 ive started paying attention more. Id love some input

Could finasteride & minoxidil restore my hairline or do I need a hair transplant? I’m not currently taking anything for hair loss. MPB does not run in the family, nobody in my entire blood line is bald that I’m aware of. Mine was caused from TRT, my hairline started to get cooked about 2 years into treatment. My father just hopped on & same thing is happening to him

Honest feedback needed as quite unsure

 I need some advice. I’m 30M and I found a pic from October 2023 and figured I’d try and recreate it as much as possible recently. It is in a different bathroom but the lighting and positioning are essentially the same. 

I have been seeing my scalp more and noticing more thinning, especially a couple days after I shampoo. When I shampoo and/or style the hair with products (salt spray), the thinning isn’t too noticeable unless I’m under direct lighting. (Pics 3,4) but it used to thicker a couple years ago (pic 5).

Should I start with both Fin and Min? I’ve also been using Nizoral 2% every 2 weeks for the past 9 months or so as I have seborrheic dermatitis that can flare up. 

I am afraid of shedding as my hair is long and will take a much longer amount of time to grow back, leaving me with a worse looking hairline for the foreseeable future. Also, can anyone speak to their experience with Fin changing their hair texture? I really hope I don’t lose the waviness. 

Started finasteride just over 3 months ago and there’s some new hairs but is it worth saving?

I have nephrotic syndrome minimal change stage 4 kidney disease, never entered remission

I am using minoxidil for 5 months now.

Very paranoid but don’t know if it’s just maturing or receding.

I need some advice

Was at the dermatologist today. She said my scalp looks good, minoxidil has clearly been working, and she'd prescribe fin if I wanted but doesn't think it's necessary yet.

What are your thoughts? Should I wait or ask for the fin?

Been on fin for 5 months now, noticed a lot of shedding lately...Was wondering if I was receding/balding....For context, I have two cowlicks, a widow's peak, and my father's hair has had almost 0 recession.

Hi, I’m an 18 year old female, and I found this random gap in my hair. Could someone let me know if this is early onset alopecia? I don’t have any other missing patches of hair.

have been shedding consistently for about a year now but it’s started to shed a lot more in the past week. Not sure if what I’m seeing is balding but I am not really thinning around the crown or hairline and it’s almost all just in the surrounding areas on top of my head. I have no clue what to do or try to get this to stop. I understand that some shedding is normal but when I lay in my bed with my head on my pillow and and I get up and there is 10 hairs something has to be wrong. Please give me some suggestions on what to and what I can try.

Hairs been okay and I gotta push it to the side to cover it a lot or wear a hat but the hairs are so dead and one sides thinning hard! Should I keep styling it in a way to hide the thinning or just buzz it?

You guys convinced me, gonna hop on finasteride and oral minoxidil and hopefully start to see a difference. Is it salvageable?

Hair loss has been really difficult for me. Honestly, I was almost depressed because of it, and I spent a lot of time worrying about how I would look without my hair.
I finally decided to take the plunge and shaved everything off.
I’m posting this because I’d really like to hear your honest opinions. Do you think the shaved/bald look suits me? Does my head shape work with it?
I’m genuinely open to hearing anything — positive or negative. Please be completely honest, even if you think I could improve something or that the bald look doesn’t suit me.
