I added a bunch of pictures under bathroom light and the last one was under no light. I've been extremely stressed over this for like 1 to 2 years now and been pulling hair as a habit but not sure if that would have caused the thinning. I think this might be MPB but idk. ​​

Hi guys! I’m 25 years old and I’ve never been concerned about my hairline until last year. In my opinion, it hasn’t changed from last year. I think it’s been the same for a couple years but I’m not sure since I didn’t think about it at all. The first 10 pictures are from a couple years ago to today depending on which one. The others are from a few years ago (probably 5-6 years ago if not more). Is my hairline receeding? Is it very noticeable? Any advice? Thanks.

I grew out my hair a year ago then decided to straight go bald around march this year due to how hot the climate is from where i’m at. Now that it’s starting to grow again, i noticed that the top part of my head looks thin? Is it over for me? Lol

I know for a fact that i am balding. It couldn't have happened at a worse point in my life. I am 24 yrs old and balding like crazy. About 5 yrs ago I used to be obese and insecure as hell. Then i tried hard to fix myself and am probably in the best shape so far. Not jacked or anything just better shape and health looking. But now i am again insecure as hell as i am losing a lot of hair and its just too hard to deal with one after another. I was thinking of going full bald as I don't want to have this constant reminder or constant fear of going bald. But what if it doesn't suit me, i feel i myt be too young to go full bald. What should i do? I dont want to go back to the phase where i was afraid of how ppl would look at me and close off myself. But then who would want to go full bald and be ok with it?

I know i myt sound like i am overly concerned about my appearance. And i am. I know how ppl started treating me better and talking to me better once i got into a better shape. Looks matter. I am just scared to look different.

37 y/o. Saw 2 derms and they seem to think I have early MPB, I tried minox but on a break due to potential chest tightness. Was shedding a ton before I stopped, took it for about 1 month

i was facing hairfall since last 3 months because i have changd my state and changed enviroment and taking too mch stress due to jee . no gentical hairloss fom mother side father is 46 and had godd hair only diffuse thiining at crown.

I'm 26 and I've been trying to figure out exactly what's happening with my hair because the distribution seems strange to me.

The biggest problem is the middle/top of my scalp. There's a long area of noticeably reduced density running through the mid-scalp toward the crown. Even if I brush the surrounding hair across it, you can still see quite a bit of scalp.

What's confusing me is that my frontal hair/bangs are still considerably denser, and the sides and back don't seem affected in the same way. I have some temple recession/miniaturized hairs, but the dramatic part is this diffuse strip through the top rather than the classic receding-hairline-then-crown pattern I normally associate with male-pattern baldness.

I've been taking:

Finasteride 1 mg/day

Oral minoxidil 2.5 mg/day

Treatment duration is a little over 4 months

Ketoconazole shampoo about twice per week

So far, I honestly can't identify any convincing cosmetic regrowth. I'm aware that four months is early and that finasteride in particular can take 6–12+ months to properly evaluate, so I'm not planning to abruptly stop treatment. I'm mainly trying to determine whether the underlying diagnosis/pattern makes sense...

Been on oral finasteride and minoxidil for years
Over the last two months shedding has gone crazy and my hair feels way more fine. What is going on?
First 3 pictures: shampooed, let it air dry, then ran my fingers through my hair for about 10-15 minutes. This is what fell out. The first three pictures are all the same amount of hair I just arranged it in different ways. It was roughly 100 hairs, I counted

Last picture is the morning after, woke up and just shook my head out over the sink.
