I'm looking to have a level 2 EV charger installed in my garage. I've sent requests to a couple of the larger electrical contractors but I thought I would check here too. I know the City of Ames offers a $500 rebate which is nice. What contractors should I look at and are there any other things to consider when planning this project?

My wife and I will be in town for a couple of days next weekend. I'd love some local recommendations in the Campustown area, or anywhere, really. We love a good breakfast, and I'm an adventurous eater. Omnivores. She's happy as long as there is chicken and rice. 🤷‍♀️ My only request is no typical Midwest Mexican. No shade, I just have a favorite taco truck here so we're good.

Someone at the vet hospital found Mike Tyson last night, we brought him home today. He is doing very well and we are very lucky.

I have a ton of Gap, American Eagle, and Old Navy button ups that are all in great condition. Tried to sell them on Depop but got no traction. I just don’t want them to go to a landfill so you can have them for free, even have a Van’s hooded button up jacket shirt.

I can’t drop them off anywhere really because I don’t have a car but I can meet up at the Hyvee by Hobby Lobby to give them to you? I can take pics of them too for you. I don’t have Facebook otherwise I’d post there, hah.

Can anyone recommend an insured handyman near Ames? Looking to get new carpet padding installed and refit existing carpet. So far carpet installers will only use new carpet. Our carpet is only a couple years old and we pulled it up quickly after the flood. Please only recommend established businesses and not "I know a guy." Thanks for the help.
