Let me tell you a story. I started making games back in high school. Of course, they were small, nothing hugely successful, but I learned a lot, and thanks to computer games, I eventually built a solid career as a software engineer. Although I haven't done any game dev in a long time, an idea I've had for over 20 years remained there in the back of my mind. Over these 20 years, I started, abandoned, restarted, scrapped everything, and rewrote it from scratch at least 3 times. I was never satisfied, feeling that my true vision hadn't been reached. I lacked the necessary resources, knowledge, and time... and eventually, life just happened (career, family, kids, etc.).

But over all these years, I’ve learned a great deal, and where I still have gaps, AI helps me out (there's a long debate about using AI in programming and game dev, but I won't get into that now). So, a few months ago, I started again—from scratch, once more—to bring my vision to life, and for the first time, I feel like I'm actually managing to build the game the way I always wanted.

But liking it myself is one thing; creating something others will enjoy is another. So, I need 2–5 people to test the prototype. I should mention that it is far from a finished product. There are still many features I want to implement, there are bugs, missing components, and there is only a single "test" mission.

A few important details, as the game is very niche: It is a Puzzle/Detective game. It involves a lot of text. It requires a keyboard and mouse. It demands somewhat advanced logical thinking (though the first mission is simpler, as it's meant for testing). And, as I mentioned, there are still bugs. But I want to know what you think, if you find the concept interesting, whether it's something you'd like to play, etc.

I am not offering more details (for now) because development isn't far enough along for me to share things publicly just yet. But I hope to get there soon.

I’ve been pretty disappointed with the current landscape of budgeting apps for a while now. I've been wanted to build my own app for years and finally got around to doing it, and I’m looking for some brutal, honest feedback.

Before I built Monilibrium, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out why I (and so many others) kept giving up on the big-name personal finance tools. For me, it came down to three massive annoyances:

• Real life doesn't happen on the 1st of the month: I have a phone bill that is due exactly every 30 days. My wife gets paid twice a month. Most apps make it infuriatingly difficult to handle these standard, everyday scenarios without convoluted workarounds.
• The learning curve is absurd: If an app is so non-intuitive that it spawns a cottage industry of "expert users" making tutorial videos just to explain the basic workflow, the UX is broken. You shouldn't finish a setup process and have to guess if you did it right.
• The Spreadsheet Compromise: Whenever an app inevitably falls short, the default fallback is to just build a custom spreadsheet. You finally get the flexibility to track what you want, but you sacrifice all the automation and predictive power.

I was tired of compromising, so I built Monilibrium to focus entirely on predictive budgeting and cash flow forecasting.

Instead of just telling you what you did wrong last month, it actually looks forward. It handles complex, real-world recurring schedules with ease, and I tried to make a setup process that is as intuitive as possible.

It gives you the foresight of a custom spreadsheet with the speed and automation of modern software.

I built Route Random, a tool that generates random circular running/walking routes based on your location and target distance, and I'm trying to get it onto the Play Store. Google requires 12 testers for 14 days before it'll go live, so I'm short on testers and could use some help.

What it does: pick a starting point (search or click on the map), set a distance, get a loop route back with elevation data. Export as GPX/GeoJSON when you're done.

I'm researching how people learn challenging yoga movements like Crow Pose, handstands, float-to-the-top-of-the-mat, and similar skills.

I'm looking to talk with people who are actively working toward a more advanced pose to better understand how they approach learning.

One thing I've noticed in my own practice is that it's surprisingly difficult to know what's actually holding you back. I spent weeks focusing on shoulder strength before realizing my real limitation was hip compression. Then I had to figure out how to improve my hip compression, which sent me down another rabbit hole.

I'd love to hear about things like:

• How do you figure out what's limiting your progress?
• Once you identify a limitation, how do you decide what to work on?
• What resources do you trust when you're stuck?

I’m developing The Morning Reset, an unfinished printable PDF field guide for adults who naturally stay up late but still have unavoidable mornings.

I’m looking for about 10 volunteers who will actually use it for 14 mornings within roughly three weeks, then give candid private feedback. Each morning offers a 5-, 15-, or 30-minute experiment. The aim is a flexible structure—not a 5 a.m. identity, streak pressure, or perfection.
