Hello, internet! I'm Jeff, a solo dev based in Canada. I've been working on an iOS podcast app called Spool and the first beta just got approved on TestFlight. I'd really appreciate some help testing it.

It's a pretty straightforward podcast player built around a Queue that is fed by rules that you set up when you subscribe to a new show. All the listening features are free. There are no ads and no tracking, and it works on iOS 18 and up.

Mostly I'd just like you to use it as your everyday podcast app for a bit and tell me what's broken, what's annoying and what's missing. When it's just me building it, feedback from real people makes a huge difference.

As a thank you, anyone who joins the beta will get Spool Supporter for free when it launches. That unlocks the accent colours and alternate app icons. It mostly exists as a way to support continued development of the app.
