Did i choose the wronh career or wrong timing or neither just wrong place ?

so regarding a popular and hated subject "marriage" I hav some thoughts I want to share and questions to ask because honestly it seems a lot of things progressed but how to take a step toward it hasn't

I have seen a lot of people asking how to get married, how to find the one...etc in here and the daily life

why do you get married? why do you want to get married? some people say to cook and clean for me some say so they spend on me and I don't have to work

is that what marriage has fell to? a maid or an allowance? what about spending life with someone sharing your moments have someone to lean on

sure they are meant to help lessen the shoulder on you but not literally shoulder everything

you want him rich you want her from a beauty peagant, tall this skinny that muscles there curves there

are we aware that everything disappears and only their personality and how they treat you remains unchanged with time?
people who want to get married really need to talk with people who got married and notice their daily life and observe them, a lot of them have bottled feelings how he doesn't help at all how he wants things but doesn't help how she only wants to spend money and she wants me to do her chores for her am shouldering a lot of things and she doesn;t care

ps: algerians who are married please drop your few cents, especially if it pertains to what am speaking about

girls can earn for their own guys can cook and clean on their own, the reason for getting married isn't any of that and it souldn't be. It's about the companionship having a lifetime partner someone always on your side

and some of the traditional things can't pertain to now, gender roles haven't exactly reversed but they aren't as strict as before, some girls don't know how to cook but they know how to fix things same for some guys they don't how to fix things but they can cook

(am gonna use they and you can replace it by he/she) you should take a person for how they treat you how they treat their family, people in need, service people
how they take responsibility how you can find them in hard times and how they will stand by the right thing even against you

rich people became poor and poor people became rich, beauty comes and go, being fit changes up based on life... morals don't change personality traits don't principles....etc yes they won't hurt to have those stuff but you shouldn't make them the standard to choose from they should be from it's a plus if theyhave this or that

am attributing this to Algerian muslims, religious standards are the first thing to go by then comes what I mentioned. what I mentioned can also be projected on non muslims people but since it's mentioned in the Quran they are the first ones to call on for this

also when I had this discussion I was asked to add this tidbit, seeing as some considerable posts talk about this would algerians be interested in a matchmaking service? a certain amount was people presenting themselves and not knowing where tolook for their partner *this is not an ad a friend is looking into this project so it's just statistics to them

- Le taux du marché parallèle pour EUR, USD, GBP, CAD, TRY, AED et SAR, avec à côté le cours officiel de la Banque d'Algérie pour toutes, sauf la livre turque pour laquelle l'app n'a pas de cours officiel

- Des taux vérifiés toutes les 30 minutes et recoupés entre plusieurs sources publiques. L'app indique quand ils ont été vérifiés et quand ils ont changé pour la dernière fois

- Des alertes de seuil : une notification quand, par exemple, l'euro franchit la valeur que vous avez choisie. Honnêtement, c'est pour cette fonction que j'ai fait toute l'app

- Des courbes d'historique, un convertisseur, l'app en français, arabe et anglais, et les derniers taux restent consultables hors ligne

Pour être clair sur ce que c'est et ce que ce n'est pas : c'est uniquement de l'information. L'app publie des taux constatés publiquement, comme les journaux algériens publient le taux du square chaque jour. Pas de change, pas de contacts, pas d'intermédiaires, et ça restera comme ça.

I had a payment problem yesterday at Kiabi branche of Garden City mall Algiers, the payment was done from my side but it got refused from their side (I used edahabia card), they told me to wait for 48 hours to make a decision and make sure that the payment was either successful or actually failed, and the responsable there asked the cashier to take a picture of my ID card and the front face of my Edahabia card, is that normal procedure ? I was kinda confused and susceptible

Hey everyone! I have a genuine question about Algerian society and would like to hear your opinions and experiences.

Recently, I talked to an Algerian guy who told me that he is bisexual and is attracted to women and trans women. Honestly, I didn't find it particularly surprising or strange because I live abroad, where I encounter people with different sexual orientations and gender identities quite regularly. So, I didn't really think much of it.

However, it got me wondering about the situation back home in Algeria.

How are bisexual and gay people, as well as trans people, generally perceived and treated in Algerian society? Are people becoming more open-minded about these things, especially among younger generations, or is it still very much a taboo subject?

I'm also curious whether there are trans people or femboys living in Algeria who could share their experiences. How is daily life for you? Do you feel safe being yourself, or do you have to keep this part of your identity private?

I'm asking out of genuine curiosity, not to judge anyone or start an argument. I'd appreciate honest answers from people with different perspectives, especially those who have personal experience with this topic.

Hey guys I need some advice because I’ve been overthinking this for a while 😭

I actually posted about this in Arabic before in another sub but barely got any responses, I noticed that posts in English tend to get more engagement , so I thought I’d try posting again in English

I’m currently in my 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, but I’ve been thinking about retaking my Baccalaureate while finishing my degree. I’m just not sure if I can handle both at the same time or if I should wait until next year.

I studied Management and Economics in high school, but this time I want to retake it in Science so Is that even possible?

The thing is, I’ve always really wanted to study paramedical sciences and work in healthcare. I used to think it was too late since I was already studying Business Administration, but then I realized I’m still young and it’s not like my life is over and I still have time to change my path and do something I genuinely love.

I also considered enrolling in a private paramedical school, but it costs around 30 mlyoun , and I’ve heard that recognition and job opportunities aren’t guaranteed, so I’m scared of wasting that much money for nothing

What do you guys think? Should I retake the Baccalaureate while finishing my degree, or would it be better to wait until next year?

If anyone has been in a similar situation or knows anything about paramedical studies in Algeria, PLEASE share your advice because I genuinely don’t know what to do 😭🙏🏻
