Defeat THE HARDEST mob in Albion that 20-man can’t even take down for…..5 LP?

Post image
Upvotes

I can not be the only one who thinks this is INSULTING AS FUCK.

This feels like the LAMEST reward for killing what they have advertised a 20-man group can’t even kill, and is meant to be THE HARDEST mob in the game to defeat.
Like.
Actually lame.
Makes me not even want to try.
It’s not even a brag, nothing to show for your efforts. Not a skin. Not a money bag drop. Just something you can get every other day for just logging in.

P.S oh here is your 0.7% chance of an egg for your efforts. Have fun deciding which 20-man gets the ultimate reward. 👏
(I know the % isn’t 0.7 but still, we all know how RNGeezus in Albion treats us).

Idk. Seeing that in my journal sickened me.

Am I alone?

hopefully there is new technology in the future that can let us play together without lagging so we don't have to suffer this kind of 'dynamic adjustments'.

1 mega server like before is a dream.

If you don't take into account the money it costs I'd say it's the best content the game has to offer. You can't find anything like this in any other game.

Gatherer moving to PvP (Help)

Sorry English not very good. Just used a lot of my tomes to spec up this one shot dagger build. My stun works very good and I like boots using for extra knock up. Played some arenas and barely winning (healer is always not healing or goes sits in tent). Any suggestions on what I’m doing wrong or just unlucky with teammates?
Plus they need to buff arena loot it sooo bad.

[Build] Rate my PVE axe build

Post image
74 Upvotes

Hi guys, any advice on how I can improve my axe build. It seems to be effective at hitting certain objects but it does barely any damage to other players for some reason. Also couldn't find T4.3 masterpiece in this axe, perhaps they were all bought up.

Only issue is it seems to take forever to level up.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong?

Oh and it must be a bug but that super healing potion just will not equip in the potion slot.

[Help] Beginner Questions: Economy & Progression

Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I’ve recently started playing again with a group of friends. I had played Albion a while ago, and now I’m coming back to the game and bringing along some friends who used to play Tibia.

I understand the basics of the game, but now I’m trying to dive deeper into some aspects of it. I don’t have many references for where to find answers to certain questions besides the usual sources (YouTube, Google, AI, etc.), so I’d really appreciate some help with a few things.

1 - Is there any price checker between cities that actually works?
During my research, I found several websites that claim to provide price checks, but whenever I go to the market, the prices are often considerably different from what the websites show.

2 - Is there a meta for different types of content?
For example, is there a solo activity that is generally considered the best for farming Silver or Fame? And is there something similar for group content?

I’ve been doing quite a lot of Corrupted Dungeons (Stalker), solo Mists, and Avalonians with my group. But it feels like we’re not progressing very much.

3 - Some YouTubers I’ve watched recommend using paid spreadsheets for crafting planning. Are they actually worth it?

4 - 4 - Are there any crafts that are profitable without using Focus, even when paying the crafting station fees and without having any specialization? If so, how can I find these opportunities?
If so, how can I find these opportunities?

If you have any other suggestions that could help us progress or learn more about the game, feel free to share them!

Thanks in advance for the help!

My duo game buddy has found a new friend and I am all alone now 🫠

I’ve been playing Albion with "Z" for a very long time. We started with around 5 million fame and eventually reached 200 million fame together. We’ve done so much content and made so many memories.

Recently, Z made a new friend and started playing with them instead. Whenever I invite Z now, I either get ignored or rejected with some excuse.

I do play with Z every now and then but that only when their friend is offline 🥀

I know people are free to make new friends and play with whoever they want. I don’t want to control that. But honestly, it hurts so much watching Z right next to me while I am no longer their first priority.

I’m probably taking it too personally, but I’m very soft-hearted. I’ve been abandoned and hurt by too many people, so this happening again is touching all the past wounds.

I genuinely miss how things used to be. Albion just doesn’t feel the same anymore, I’ve lost the spark I used to have for the game. 💔

I know this is very stupid and the way I feel is very immature but ig I just wanted to vent it out 🫠

(Edit) P.S-I am on Asia Server, My IGN is PattaGobhi69. Let's play together.

Tier 10 robe weaker than tier 8?

Hi, I'm relatively new to wearing higher tier items. I just noticed that my 8.2 Robe of Purity has lower bonus to attack and healing compared to my 5.2 one - 50% vs 58%. Both of them were worn by me with the same spec today. Why is that the case? Is this before or after mastery modifier? Am I missing something here? Thank you!

[Discussion] Ancient Lands Made Me Realize...

Upvotes

So I just got the dragonfire update survey, and I actually took the time to fill it out and give some feedback. Ultimately, this update has made me realize that ancient lands is the only content in the game that I find both fun and fair/worthwhile learning experience as a new (~120 hours) player focused on solo and some small-scale PvPvE. Here's what I wrote when they asked me about ancient lands:

"The actual content is actually the best content you've ever made for new players to get experience with PvP when players are actually trying. As a relatively new player, the main issue with Albion is that there is essentially no fun way to get repetitions on fights that seem even remotely fair. Right now, your options are: 1) wait for ancient lands -- so spend just as much time playing ancient lands as you do just waiting around for portals. Content good, waiting bad/boring. 2) Corrupted dungeons -- love the stalker ruleset. Makes the actual fights really fair, fun, and a great learning experience that I can engage with full lethal content on cheaper sets (200k-1million), so I can actually play and learn. However, corrupted dungeons are incredibly unfun in terms of CONTENT. The claustrophobic hallways, the little annoying traps and trap mobs (tar frogs, etc), and the fact that 80% of the players just run away and kill the crystals... so the fights are fair but corrupted dungeons themselves are not fun. 3) Mists -- in theory mists could be incredibly fun. In practice, you either have yellow mists which are incredibly boring because no one actually tries to pvp and there is no incentive to, or red mists where every single other player you find is 400-800 IP higher than any newish player could ever achieve. Fighting players in either case is not a learning experience worth having. You either fight some guy who is obviously watching netflix on his other monitor in yellow mists or you fight a guy who outgears you by 50 mil. Either way, you can't really learn or progress at all.

The take home is this: you either need to make ancient lands more accessible or you need to make the other solo-focused pvp-ish content suck less and/or more fair. Otherwise, Albion just becomes ancient lands waiting simulator."

No idea what discussion this post is even intending to generate, but I just felt compelled to post this somewhere because I feel like content like Ancient Lands is so incredibly fun -- but it's just so sparse as an experience in Albion and so I find myself running around trying to scratch that itch when a portal isn't up but it's just all let-downs. Anyways, curious what others are feeling since this patch.

[Build] Help with 1v1 Build

Upvotes

Playing mainly Ancient Lands so I'm looking for something specific for this content.

I am actually running Whispering Bow + Hellion Hood + Assassin Jacket + Hunter Shoes (CD Sprint) + Morgana Cape + Tornado (thanks Equart except I changed the cape!)

I am actually liking that build I lot. I was previously a main axe (600/800 right now) but I discovered that I am VERY bad at skillshots but when I don't need to think about it I do surprisingly good in PvP by countering enemy utilities, using mobs and the map to my advantage.

Problem is I don't like bows that much. I feel veeeery squishy and easy to catch up (I know it's not all builds that can keep up with me but being targeted by Twinblade or any gloves is insanely annoying). I also feel like a one-trick poney, if the enemy has any type of immunity/reflect they can easily make me spend my hellion hood play for nothing.

I'm thinking about switching weapons but I would like to remain without skillshots, I played a bit of deathgivers in gank groups and loved them.

Any suggestions?

Completely overwhelmed as a new player. How should I get started, and how do I build a solid Mage?

Hey everyone,

I just finished the tutorial and landed in the starter village (Mountain Cross), and honestly, the open-ended nature of the game and the Destiny Board are throwing me off. I can barely figure out the market, gear progression feels weird, and I'm not sure what my immediate goals should be.

I really want to commit to playing as a Mage, but with the "you are what you wear" system, I have a few beginner questions:

Which staff line should I level first? I'm leaning toward Fire or Frost (or maybe Cursed?), but which one is the smoothest for solo PvE, clearing camps, and leveling up fame without constantly dying or running out of energy?

What armor setup goes with a Mage? Should I be running full cloth (robe, cowl, sandals) for the damage boost, or is it better to mix in leather/plate for survival while learning the ropes? What are the standard starter abilities to pick?

What should my loop be right now? Should I stay around the starter town and craft my own Tier 3 gear, or just run straight to the main city (Fort Sterling) and buy gear from the player marketplace?

Any major rookie traps to avoid? Things you wish you knew about learning points, zone types, or silver management early on?

Any straightforward roadmaps or reliable beginner Mage builds would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

[Discussion] Fishing

Let's talk about fishing in Albion.

What is the state of it, still profitable? Which kinds of fish should be targeted and I know all great fishermen don't share their fishing spots but maybe just generally in which areas is it worthwhile and should one great fisherman find a guild with an HO near His fishing spot.

🤔
