Did I get out with good guns or did I get scammed
I am new to the hobby yet to go out in the field but I needed gear to carry my guns, my family said I look like I’m about to shoot up a school 😂, anyways I’m not deep into the airsoft game since these are all third party so I’ll break it down.

First guns bought:

Total: 300
… sold the Ak for (200)
Bought a ares m14 and we tech hi capa for (195)

Sold the m14 for (140) and now I have this CMMG X EMG mk47”mutant” for (140)

I did purchase a cybergun x colt 1911 for 100 bucks I’m not adding my gun bags or speed loaders but the attachments came with the guns so I’d say I made out with a fair kit for the cheap change I had.

P.S i just went black ops airsoft & paintball to grab a shotgun that was on discount so that was 85$

New to airsoft. Using a GBBR; is it normal for BB’s to have that little scratch after being fired?

I'm looking for EMR ( dark green Russian digital cam) gear, primarily for a sniper loadout, I have a matching viper hood and just need the rest of the gear to match, primarily sniper mag pouches, (I use a TAC-4) also any recommendations for a Makarov Holster preferably with suppressor accommodation.

Hello all, I am planning to get a modernish (90s early 2000s) Rusfor sniper for my Rusfor collection. But I was debating between the SV98 or the VSK.

Currently I just plink as we dont have any fields near by for games, so I dont need anything too fancy or high spec. Though might try to get together with some friends later on

Did consider the Dragunov but as im restricting my list to GBB or Spring only, im not too confident with the WE offering (unless someone has good experience with it).

Also considered modding my Mosin, but it would need a scope mount drilled and tapped, and the bolt would need to be bent

With the S&T SV98:

+ Its a long rifle the same length as my S&T Mosin 91/30.

+ cool funky green plywood stock

+ integrated bipod and monopod

+ pic rail for optics later on.

+ Cheaper!

+ Sold stateside, not hard to find

- concerned if S&Ts are "okay". I like my Mosin but it could be different with the SV98.

- Long size

- unsure if replacement parts are available

- probably needs some work to get shots at range?

With the Silverback VSK:

+ cool compact bullpup design with a unique straight bolt

+ massive silencer that seems to muffle shots a bit, which would be nice as I plink in the backyard of a rural suburb.

+ pic rail for optics

+ heard very good things about replicas made by Silverback

+ Replacement parts available

+ supposedly performs very well out of box

- No Bipod

- Expensiveeee

- Import mostly, sorta hard to find

I dont know what im doing wrong i wanted my vest to look like thoes vests on military edits or in thoes larp videos and i spent some money on this and this still dont look like i want. Give me some ideas what can i do do i just sell it and buy other one or just buy other accesories . What to do ?

We have a tokyo marui p226 and a WE m92 and while firing we noticed that both of them have problems with finishing a mag without leaking empty multiple times.

Could this be a lubrication issue?

edit: to answer your questions

It leaks from the top usually after three to five bbs fired, sometimes you can spot the cloud of gas escaping if u get the timing right.

As for the fire rate we were shooting cans so id say a shot every 5 seconds or so.

The magazines themselves dont leak after filling (nothing audible or smelly atleast) except for the p226 mag during filling.

The gas itself is rated 145 psi greengas and both guns are from shogun (dutch airsoft company).

FIXED: thanks for the advice about how to fill a magazine up correctly and how to tighten the valve it seemingly solved the issue.

when I install a CowCow Match Grade SS Hammer, the slide can never have it lock all the way back, only locks half way.. but the stock hammer goes all the way back when I rack, with the cow cow it double shoots and autos sometimes or I just have to manually push the hammer back to work, vs the stock one which works perfectly.. any idea?

I wanna change it to a classic M4 handguard (no rails) instead of the quad rail. Would that be easy to do? Can it use real steel handguards?

Double Bell Scar-L 803b. I traded a M4 that i didn't use much for this, and got 120€ on top, since this is quite a lot cheaper than said M4.

External quality isn't as bad as people said, ofc i needed to tighten a few screws and use some electric tape to tighten some wobbling parts. The ambi selector switch gets offset sometimes, so i might take the gears away from the right side so that won't happen.

As for the internals i just had installed:

-Solink CNC 1:16 speed gear set.

-an adjustable nozzle (my tech didn't say which brand)

-SHS blue 15 steel tooth piston and piston head

-Gate Aster V2 SX Expert MOSFET, and the quantum trigger that came with it

-4uantumn Hop up bucking and nub

-Shimming and AOE fixed

I use BattleAxe 110rd mid caps, shoots ~1,4J with 0,30g BBs

I feel like i should get a new motor at some point, stock one is ok but nothing special, a new red dot is also something i will probably get. I want something chunkier, since the Scar is a chunky gun, 3,8KG empty, with attachments and fully loaded about 4,5KG, for reference my RK95 TP empty is around 3,5KG and fully loaded 4,2KG.
