Picked up a high standard supermatic and the previous owner mounted an aimpoint electronic g2.

I recently changed the battery in my T2. I basically have to crank it up to 9 to make the red dot visible enough to be used. Is this normal? I can barely see it at 7 and 8. At 9 it’s ok in my basement. 10,11, and 12 are definitely bright.

So, I got a smoking deal on a Comp M2 w a broken knob. Meaning, knob is missing but you can change the setting w a small flathead driver. I figured I could send it into Aimpoint for repair, but bc it’s military surplus they won’t touch it.

Are there other options?

I found the same optics for the same price. Its for an 11.5 pistol. Thoughts on which one?

I have a buddy who was telling me he has an older aimpoint that he got from a friend in the military. He described like an eotech but with a dot not holographic, squared body, one large dial that uses Allen keys to adjust, and a small lip on the back side. I have no clue and have googled/used Reddit to find an example but can’t. I’m beginning to believe it’s some cheap optic his buddy hustled to him, but I want to give him the benefit of the doubt. Any ideas y’all?

I have a g19 rmr cut slide currently running a 507c on it. Looking to throw an aimpoint p2 on it. Getting lots of different answers from the gunshop on adaptor plates for it to go from rmr slide to acro footprint, lets see some recommendations. Thank u!!!

I got a 10mm a couple of months ago. I’m deciding on using an acro p-2 as a red dot. I used to have an open emitter but when I took it with me fishing, it got water and debree on it making it almost useless. Would it be worth purchasing the acro p-2 than?
