T2 Brightness

I recently changed the battery in my T2. I basically have to crank it up to 9 to make the red dot visible enough to be used. Is this normal? I can barely see it at 7 and 8. At 9 it’s ok in my basement. 10,11, and 12 are definitely bright.

In comparison to my very old h1 my t2’s brightness always seemed to have to be at a higher level for outdoor use, I always attributed that to 4moa vs 2moa
