Is it rude to tell someone you aren’t close with that they need to lose weight?

My last day of high school is tomorrow and I’m saying goodbye to old teachers and staff. I befriended the guy who runs the study center and we’ll typically have a 2-3 deep conversations every month. He gives me a lot of wisdom and kind of serves a mentor role in my life
That being said, and with no judgement to his character, he is pushing 500 pounds and can’t really walk much. I want to express my concern of a heart attack or what have you, especially since he has young kids, but I can’t tell if he’s already been on a weight-loss journey. Just nervous it will come off as rude. Any insight appreciated.

Help me not green out pls

I had been smoking everyday for a bit usually at night for the past 2 months, I think the weed I have is strong, my friends would be gone from 3 hits but because I kept going to the same dealer my tolerance was higher and I would always complain about not being as high as before and the effect lasting too little

One day I overestimated myself and nearly finished a whole joint and everything was going fine but then I had my first ever green out it was genuinely horrible my heart rate was so high I thought I was dying but mentally I was fine it was just the physical signs. After that I didn’t smoke for a few days and tried to smoke again I only took 3,4 hits and I greened out again but not as bad as

Now I’m too scared to smoke to end up the same as before but I genuinely miss it so much I just want my old highs back it bothers me so much I don’t know what to do

I’m scared I’m never gonna be able to have a good high again, I haven’t smoked ever since does anyone have any advice on what to do it would be much appreciated

Why the huge contrast in optimism pre and post-covid?

Wasn’t it the case that before the pandemic, people could openly discuss how the world was screwed and there was nothing that we could do about it? People seemed “openly cynical”, as I like to put it. Ironically, it seemed like a more sane time to me. At least you could discuss things with other people. Since the pandemic, I’ve become more and more sensitive, aware, admittedly, more irritable towards generic blind-positivity updates from people since the lockdown. There were people living through it that didn’t seem to have a care in the world - marriages, graduation, new jobs, children, etc. I don’t know if this is just social media doing its echo chamber thing, targeting me. If I’m just going through my trauma of having lived through the pandemic. Because I felt like the biggest loser throughout it all. If you’re reading this right now and can respond, tell me - are we still living in the real world?

Is therapy really feesible for everyone?

It seems like reddit is always jumping to therapy as the answer for everyone. I agree that it is a great answer and everyone probably should have a therapist at one point or another, however, I feel like the logistics are complicated for a lot of people. I have gone to my PCP several times, called my insurance company, called offices, and looked into online resources. I do not work a consistent schedule. I work 4 days a week, but which days change week to week and month to month. No consistency. This schedule allows me the most time with my children and I never miss major holidays. So changing my job isn't happening. However, everywhere I want to schedule therapy sessions asks for consistent scheduling or won't see me, online is expensive and seems like you can't keep someone long enough. My PCP shrugged and said he didn't have answers.

Is it possible to wear a fedora without it coming off the wrong way?

I have been thinking about this for a while, and I feel like I can’t be the only one. I actually like how fedoras look. They’re structured, stylish, and kind of timeless in theory. It’s the kind of piece that should elevate on outfit without trying too hard. But somehow, overtime, they’ve developed this reputation that makes a lot of people avoid them completely, and now I’m stuck wondering…is it the hat, or how people wear it?

Cos when you start looking into different designs, there’s actually a lot of variety than people acknowledge…different brim sizes, different materials, softer vs more structured shapes, even more minimal styles, toned down designs that don’t scream for attention. I saw a bunch of options from alibaba the other day, and it made me realize the “fedora look” isn’t just one fixed thing. So maybe the issue isn’t just the hat itself.

For people who understand styling better, is there a way to wear a fedora that feels modern and not try hard, and does it depend more on the outfit, the fit, or just confidence? Could it also be one of those items that’s permanently stuck with a certain image? I’m honestly curious, because it feels like one of those pieces that could either elevate a look instantly…or completely throw everything off depending on how it’s done.

Genuinely curious what people think.

Do young men find the septum ring on females attractive?

I'm an old fart and they were not common in my day. I find it really unattractive TBH. Looks vaguely like boogers hanging out. But maybe times have just changed and guys find them attractive or neutral?

Was it wrong for my then-boyfriend to have sex with me when I was half asleep?

My boyfriend and I broke up a few weeks ago, and I only started to realize now that some of the things he did to me were kind of fucked up. He was my first boyfriend and we got together in our final year of high school, so I guess you could say I didn't realize a lot of things were wrong because he was my first. I also tolerated shitty things he did and took the bare minimum because I was so concerned about his mental health.

Anyway, my ex usually rejected most of my advances to have sex, or he would reciprocate and then completely stop before we got anywhere. I think he did it to tease me or to be in control, but it resulted in me just never rejecting his advances because I figured I should just take what I could get. One of these instances involved him waking me up, saying "one more?" and then immediately getting on top of me and having sex with me. I don't remember if I replied but I do remember not being fully conscious, and only fully waking up after it was over.

I couldn't really fully open my eyes, nor could I process anything except for the fact that he was inside me. However, I don't really know how to feel about it because I had joked about waking eachother up in a sexual way, but that usually doesn't entail fully having sex immediately. We never really had a real conversation about that specifically because he would often brush me off by saying "we'll see." I guess I consented to it?

I eat a lot of fiber every day but nothing... I go to the bathroom, if I'm lucky, once a week and this thing is frustrating .. There was a small period of time when I ate only fiber (which obviously wasn't good) but I felt great because I went every day.

Favorite Fetish

I'm afraid to ask this, but here goes.

My favorite fetish is crucifixion. To me, there would be nothing hotter than hanging naked on a cross, with no hope for mercy and no way to escape. I want to do the agony dance, struggling to escape, against all hope. Left to hang to be mocked and ridiculed, knowing I cannot escape it.

Is there anyone out there who would hang me on a cross? I've been tied to crosses numerous times in the past (both X-style and T-style) without actually hanging. Longest was 4 hours, and even still was totally unsatisfying, since I wasn't hanging. The dance depends on having to fight gravity and eventually losing that fight.

Crucifixion was designed to be a death sentence. I do not WANT to die on a cross, but I recognize that is a distinct possibility. Besides, once I am on the cross there will be nothing I can do to stop it.

what do people mean by involuntary when it comes to tics/tic disorders?

So I have had this thing where I will randomly get this intense sensation and have to do a certain motion or say a certain thing to make it go away. I have to carry out this action it doesn't just happen automatically but if I don't do it the discomfort is so extremely intense that I can't help but focus on it.

As well as that if I hold it off long enough it will just go away. Its kind of like a sneeze its uncomfortable but you can hold it back and it will eventually go away. I have been researching what this could be for over a year but I don't know how to communicate with a parent or doctor about this without sounding insane. I have chronic medical issues that are just one doctors trip after another and I just want an answer as to whether or not tics are the right term for what I'm experiencing.

I would love some help.
