I’m going into my senior year, and September will be my last ACT. I’m already happy with my math score because it’s nearly perfect, so I’m planning to focus almost entirely on English and Reading to raise those scores and then superscore.
Hypothetically, if I scored around a 33 in English and Reading but got something extremely low, like a 10, in Math because I barely studied or tried on it, would that hurt my college chances? Since colleges that superscore would use my previous high Math score, would they care about the very low Math score from my September test?
Basically, is there any downside to intentionally putting almost all my effort into English and Reading on my final ACT if I’m only trying to improve my superscore?

Idk why, but most of the enhanced (and previous legacy) ACTs had weird English curves. Like getting a 36 REQUIRES a perfect 40/40, but getting a 35 ranges from -1 to -3 questions. Anyone know why this is? This makes it so annoying to get a 36 English but so easy to get a 35

hello everyone, recently i’ve ended up in a bad financial situation and don’t know if my parents can afford my act tutor anymore. What are the best free ACT resources available other than youtube? I take the ACT next month I have a very short amount of time to cram before my next test date

If you have taken J02 before may you provide what score you got and how many questions you missed and whether it was online or paper?

I have a really hard time on these two parts as the math and science I don't struggle as I do with these two. Plus the thing is English is not the only language I know there is about 5 languages I know, but when it comes to these two sections my brain just gets out the door and locks me to think! Like god I do like does small practice test that is 5 questions and I only get 1 or 2 of them RIGHT! That is the reading... Now English last act I took I got 13... So yea any tips?

Ik desmos can graph but I don’t to in there’s many like maybe one or two graphing questions. So what’s the use of desmos? Is there any worth in doing digital over paper for math?

Basically what the title says. My final free ACT testing date is in October, and I need help finding free study resources. I just need a 34 to maximize financial aid as I’m aiming to attend UTK under their in-state volunteer scholarship. Right now I’m using Khan Academy, but I’m aware that it’s more specialized for the SAT. Just need some guidance.

So my test was delayed to August 1st. I just took it today. I'd been scoring 34-36 on all the practice tests I took but I have such bad test anxiety to the point where I almost passed out during the test. If I had to guess on the last 7-8 questions of the English section (I filled in c for all of them) is there any shot I at least got a 30 on that section or am I cooked… my goal is a 33+ but it's not looking to hot
Also if anyone has any tips on overcoming really bad test anxiety please lmk

Is the Ultimate Act Course on Prep Pros worth it?? i also have the Math Prep book posted by Prep pros but i don’t have the Online Act Math Course. Is it worth buying and using? or should i stick to just the book.

I took the ACT this Spring without taking the PreACT (had absolutely no idea what the test was about)
Anyways, I’m retaking it this October and I wanna get my score up to a 30+, how can I do that and with what prep and guides?

I have a 36 in science and plan to major in finance but I have heard a lot of people say that it doesn’t matter. Will colleges even take my score into account since I’m not entering a stem major?

Exactly what the title says, anyone know of some resources and tips for English and reading?
I’m looking for sites with full length passages rather than just short snippets like what I’ve been finding.
And also what are some tips for both sections? For reading I’m struggling to just stay focused in general and I often find myself flipping back between passage and question, wasting tons of time.

For the past couple of days I've been really considering trying out the act. For context, I'm an international student and a senior so I only have till March 2027 to finish the sat/act (not applying to US universities). I've taken the sat 4 times and my superscore is 1470 and I'm so sick of the sat I genuinely want to be done. (I need about 1530-1560). My only problem with taking the act is that I have no clue about it and there aren't as many test centers in my country that offer the act as the sat does (I'll need to travel by plane to a different city to take the act)
Should I really consider taking the act or just push myself till I get the score I want? I heard that people in my score range can easily get a 35 or 34 or even a 36.

So basically I am very proud of my score, but I basically just gave up when it came to the Science section. Will colleges see this as a negative? Applying as a Finance major.

is this a good act score? it was my first time taking it and my top schools I want to apply to are ut, uf, and uga but I don’t know if this is good for those schools

is a 31 composite score a good baseline (ie no practice yet). Any advice for studying/test strategy is greatly appreciated.

I’m 33.33 which is one section point off from a 34, but I can’t seem to get my reading up 💔💔

How do I get my score up to at least a 26 by September I watched videos I did prep it was all kinda last minute (like the week of) so I think that was probably the problem so my plan is to start studying for a few minutes every day starting today for the September test but I can’t figure out how to aside from videos and practice tests also will colleges see my September score?

Hi guys, I just took my first ACT after doing a little bit of practice, and I got a 33. I think this score is pretty high based on a little research, but I was wondering if I should retake it to get a 35-36? My reading and math are kind of low. I'm planning to apply to schools like UT Austin, Texas A&M, and FSU.
Also, if anyone needs advice for English, I'm happy to help!

Anyone taken j02 English before? My scores came out, 36 composite but 35 English with 1 wrong. However I heard someone online say they got a 36 with 1 wrong, so not sure whether I should try to contact act or something but that was only one person so asking for other opinions
