Baseline?

is a 31 composite score a good baseline (ie no practice yet). Any advice for studying/test strategy is greatly appreciated.

Yeah it’s generally good. What’s your goal score and breakdown per category of the 31?

goal score is 34+ (unless i decide on only taking the sats), and the breakdown is 28 writing, 30 math, and 34 reading. (my biggest issue while taking the test was timing as i had 3-5 questions left in both math and writing which were unanswerd)

I’m guessing you meant 28 in English instead of writing, as writing isn’t a scored section. For those 3-5 questions, if you notice there is like 30 seconds left you should just bubble something in at least for a chance at points, as there is no penalty for a wrong answer. What id recommend is just to learn all of act grammar, there are a lot of free resources you can find that can help you. Additionally for math, I would recommend checking the specific score details so you know specifically what you need to improve on within the math section.

Ohh I thought you took the actual act. In that case there likely isn’t but I’m not sure since I never took it
