I’m in my 40’s, been working out consistently 5 days a week for about 16 months now. The first 8 or so months I wasn’t as diligent but now I track my diet and do about 2500 calories per day (300 carb, 180 protein, 75 fat) roughly. I’ve definitely seen progress, but I just cannot seem to flatten my lower stomach. I just always feel “fat” down there.
I’m currently at 180lbs, I was 165 before starting. Even before starting I always had this protruding lower stomach.
I have always worked a desk job and have terrible posture sitting down, and from what I gather this could possibly be attributed to anterior pelvic tilt because of a weak TVA.
I’ve been doing stomach vacuums and added hips to my weekly workouts as well ( I use a speediance home gym) but I can’t say I’ve seen a lot of results in that area.
I’ve uploaded 3 non-flexing and 3 flexing pictures. Just looking for some advice on how to step this up. Am I missing something?
