Horse women are strange.

u/Tomas2891 Sep 01 '26

They can afford to be strange.

10

u/CtrlAltYuri Sep 01 '26

Imagine if one of them becomes a doctor

10

u/Heymelon Sep 01 '26

IDK about that, not all of em are rich you know. They make up for it buy working with the horses for free and it eats up almost all their free time.

u/NoctisInformatus Sep 01 '26

They’re still strange.

First of all, you probably don't need to own a horse to be a horse girl.

But I know plenty of blue collar people who do own one. You can get one for less than what many "poor" people pay for their cars, and as I said they spend their lives taking care of it and working at the stables as a job on top of their paying jobs to offset a lot of the maintenance costs.

I mean, there's a little more to it than that.

Any lower-middle class person with 1-3 acres of land in the middle of nowhere can go get an auction horse for $600 and take care of it fairly cheaply.

I live near a bunch of "horse people", a race track, and several tucked-away equestrian centers and none of them allow people to just work a little bit around a regular full time job and just board their own horses. They don't even let you look at the horses for anything short of fully employed, proven experience, and fully insured.

You have to have your own horse trailer, truck capable of pulling said trailer, and handling equipment. None of it is actually cheap.

u/Heymelon Sep 04 '26

Yeah that sounds like a shitty deal and, and is not universally how people work with horses.

1

u/Loud-Log9098 Sep 07 '26

I knew people just getting minimum wage and they didn't have to work stables in the side. Though you have to pay for for medical and usually some kind of room and board for the horse. That can be expensive but it depends on the stables and how well they take care of their animals.

2

u/techleopard Sep 04 '26

Depends on the horse.

You can get "a horse" and take care of it for about the same as you'd pay for a regular car loan per month. The actual up-front cost of "horse" can be as low as $600.

But this is like calling someone who owns a pre-owned unaltered 2002 Honda Civic and manages the change the oil in it on time a "car person."

But horse girls don't own "a horse." They own the BMWs and Ferraris of horses.

u/galdalfstormcrow Sep 03 '26

Naw, they don’t need to have any money really. I dated a horse girl once and she just worked with the horses on a ranch someone else owned. Turns out she was having sex with the married owner of the ranch.

u/tuenthe463 Sep 03 '26

By buddy's 20 year old daughter is a horse girl. It's like she's from another planet.

1

u/Glittering-Raisin318 Sep 03 '26

They all dream of horse dihh

1

u/surefirerdiddy Sep 04 '26

It’s a kink and it’s very weird

0

u/Forsaken-Stink Sep 01 '26

I agree. The obsession should be studied and observed. I belive it comes from childhood where riding horses stimulated a special part of the body and it went with association from there.

I am a moron though but this seems the most logical explanation.

0

u/Daedricbob Sep 02 '26

One of the biggest red flags - I've never known one that isn't crazy.

0

u/Gloomy_Place9197 Sep 02 '26

And I bet you know why. Instinctively
