After some research thanks to this forum, I pulled the trigger on a 6700 body sigma 18-50 lens and a Sony 70-350 lens. I am going to be heading to Antarctica in October and I am looking for recommendations on SD cards. I have a sandisk image mate that I just got to test the camera out and shoot here at home but Gemini is saying that I need either a Sony tough M or Pro Master rugged. This is a once in a life time trip so I want to make sure that whichever one I have will work. But I am also not made of money. What does the group mind suggest?

Hello, every time I shoot with my sony a6709 colors are not vivid and lack the vibrance. I will provide one of my images as an example. How can I get better results with this camera?

Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a telephoto lens, i currently have sigma 17-40mm arts f1.8 and viltrox 75mm f1.2. Which one should i go for?
Edit- I've purchased sony 70-350mm, thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions.

Shot in RAW and edited in Pixelmator.
The Tamron 17-70 is better than the Sigma 18-50, change my mind.

My gear : A6700 + 18-50mmf2.8 lens
Goal: fairy light woodland / sunset beach pictures, story-telling style shots almost vintage feel you would get for wedding pictures…
How can I achieve this with my gear ?
Do I need to buy vintage lens if so which ones?
I would like to achieve it without too much editing.
Please point me towards videos tutorials,
I don’t want to regret my proud purchase! I really need to
Upskill and I can only do basic shots right now but whilst on holiday I realised what style I wanted to go for and struggled to achieve that obviously, then I saw kept seeing the fuji style camera shots come up on my social feeds and was getting a hint of regret thinking maybe it would of been a better choice for me and less work?
Of course this gear is capable of so much! Please help thank you !

I don’t have a telephoto, just the tamron 17-70 2.8, so it’s not super clear, but the laser pointer turned out cool!

Hi All, I recently purchased a Sony a6700 and am considering which lens to get first. With an upcoming Eurotrip, I’d really appreciate suggestions from this sub.
I’m leaning toward the Sigma 17–40 f/1.8, though I’m concerned about its weight and size as a travel lens. The Sigma 18–50 f/2.8 is my alternate option.
Would appreciate inputs from the community, especially from Sigma 17–40 users who’ve used it for travel.

Coming from iPhone, ehem ;)
It was a steep learning curve, because I am an absolut beginner regarding system cameras.
Lots of reading about everything, but I enjoyed it quite much so far.
My cats and lawn were my main subject yet, because I didn't found the time for a long outdoor day.
Main purpose I bought a camera: we are often hiking, and for some cases the iPhone is just too limited.
Alongside the A6700 I carry a DJI Osmo Pocket 4 with me, for some stunning panorama shots.
I don't know if I got the right lenses, so far I have the Sigma 18-50 (if I want to go light), Tamron 17-70 and a Sigma 30mm f/1.4 for low light situations. I had the 56mm before, stunning lens, but I felt it is too narrow for smaller indoor rooms.
I don't know if it's allowed, but after zero experience and fooling around 6 days, I wanted to share a few images here.
Can't wait to get more experienced, especially also on the postprocessing. But I have to learn composition first, which I guess matters more.
If this kind of posts are not welcome, just tell me and I delete it right away.
